I can't give any park in Tanzania an average rating- but this hill is basically the gate to the Serengeti National Park. But after a long drivem their is a nice picnic area, clean restrooms, a small shop (that sells cards for your camera- which you probably didn't bring enough of!) But do be sure to take the short walk...

Naabi Hill is a good stop for a picnic on the way north or south in the Serengeti. Interesting info abounds on the seasons and patterns of wildlife Migrations.

Refill your Refreshments at the entry point. One can spot loins around.....

Great place to stop on the way into the park. Huge herds of wildebeest and zebra with the occasional giraffe thrown in for good measure. A short walk up to the top of the hill to see spectacular views of the surrounding plains.

A short climb up Naabi Hill ( near the gate) and the vista of the Savannah open up below you. Simply stunning views all around.
Don't just stop and picnic at the gate walk around to take it all in as your driver does the formalities of check in /check out

Be sure to climb to the top of the hill. The view is amazing. Also use the restroom... the next one is hours away.

We had a picnic lunch at the Naabi Hill facility. There are tons of stone picnic tables there, some in the sun and some in shade.
