My wife and I went to Tanzania to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro to be followed by a four-day safari. We chose Popote Africa Adventures and we are glad we did. Sabino (owner) treated us as family. He was very professional and super friendly. Everything operated efficiently but with all the flexibility we needed. Our driver/guide, Anaeli, was fantastic. He knew all... More

Lions, leopards, cheetahs...all here. Elephants, giraffes, zebras, all close up. Nothing really to dislike about this place !

Our safari experience was wonderful! Our guides were very experienced and extremely fun to be around. They were very accommodating as well. We visited 3 parks ( Tarangire N.Park, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro). Each place was equally as magical, and we saw the 'big five' The camping sites were decent, but the restrooms could be improved. The chef cooked for us... More

In Seronera we tallied up our total big 5 viewings to 4 out of the 5, only missing the rhino, which we were fortunate enough to see in Ngorongoro crater. But we sure did see a lot of cats! There was great diversity between the three national parks we visited throughout our four day safari, Terengire, Serrengeti (Seronera) and Ngorongoro... More

the campsite was rather basic but a good experience. There is nothing quite like sleeping out on the African plain listening to lions roar and the elephants bellow. The campsite was visited by Hyenas a night who were hunting for scraps and came within a few feet of our tent. All in all a great experience. The toilets are the... More

Bramwel safaris was our tour operator. We came across this group through google as well as tripadvisor for it's ratings and reviews. When I travel, I rely heavily on word of mouth, Google search, trip advisor, travel sites (lonely planet, Conde Nast, fodor's, etc). Climbing Kilimanjaro has been on my bucket list for the last 4 years. So, it was... More

I think the driver/company that you go on a safari can make or break the experience. So if you can swing it, go with a private jeep just for yourself and your friends/travel companions because having the flexibility to escape the crowding of other cars that are bound to happen is priceless. After all, you didn't come here to be... More

We had a great experience in the Seronera part of the Serengeti park. We were fortunate to see all big 5 in 1 day of travel, including the elusive leopard and cheetah. There are a lot of roads, and with an experienced driver (Kili Heroes, from Moshi) we were always alone, enjoying our sightseeing. Best part was a family of... More

We were in Moshi, Tanzania for some work and wanted to use a long weekend for a Safari. one of the co-founders of Youth Adventures, Paul, had organized a very nice day trip to the Coffee plantations earlier, thus we thought to rely on their company, Youth Adventures, for organizing our safari. In getting price quotes and descriptions we still... More
