What an incredible place. Everyone said it would be a highlight. I didn't believe them. I eat my words. I did a 42 day safari, Cape Town to Nairobi, and this was the highlight. We saw two leopards on day one, the same two the next day, hyenas, wildebeest, 2 servals (!!), dik disk, giraffes, hippos, lions including a pride... More

After researching on Trip Advisor and actually consulting with several frequent TA posters, we opted to go with A2T. We were attracted by their non-profit work (Co-Owner Brian is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and entire company is dedicated to non-profit projects like Project Zawadi). Co-Owner Karen, who runs stateside operations, including planning, made the process easy through smooth accessibility... More

Wasn't sure of best place to put this review, but I suppose here will do. My sister and I did a 5 day safari with Topi Adventure, the same tour operator we had for our Mount Kilimanjaro hike. Someone we met on the hike from Austria also joined us, so it was the 3 of us. We went to Tarangire,... More

For animal lovers like myself, the Serengeti was about 1000% more amazing that I imagined. I went on an 8-day safari with Intrepid Tours. During the part of our tour in the Serengeti, we camped for two nights in a public campsite. What an adventure! There were no gates or anything to keep the animals away. We had hyenas come... More

Serengeti, the land where "The Lion King" was born. Step into this Circle of Life, embrace all that is around you, all the living creatures, for as far as eyes could see. Open your heart and breath them all in, hornor evey bit of the existance, let them become you, and let you become them, we are all ONE. "Look... More

It has always been a dream of mine to come to the Serengeti. In July 2013 I finally made it and I wasn't disappointed – for the most part. The Serengeti is a huge area and as such there are so many places for wildlife to hide and spread out into. We stayed in the Seronera area in one of... More

Jambo ! To all those looking for a cheap camping safari in Tanzania, I urge receptive Kiliholidays Tours & Safaris Africa. I returned and frankly it was awesome! It was with them seven days safaris: Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire park. We had guide who are fluently with our language (French), he is very good. Cooks: super! The food was... More

Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value. With more than two million wildebeest, half a million Thomson's gazelle, and a quarter of a million zebra, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. The wildebeest and zebra moreover form the star cast of a unique... More

We stopped here for picnic lunch on our first full day in Serengeti. It is one of the few spots of "civilization" in the Serengeti with a small shop, the park headquarters, and a short nature trail with exhibits on the Serengeti ecosystem, history of conservation efforts, and some cool metal sculptures. A nice break from the bumpy park roads.
