I spent 4 wonderful days in Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. Place is amazing, charming landscape with many animals. I was there with Asili Explorer Company. The Asili's owner is Joseph Kessy who was my guide and driver. He knows the area of Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara very well. His knowledge abaut parks is very huge. I want to... More

The wildlife was everything you hear about and more. It's one thing to watch it on TV. It's another to see it in real life! The roads on the other hand are horrible. They do not seem to be maintained at all. They were probably made before WW 1 and not touched since! They are very rough, rocky and washboarded,... More

We travelled in August 2014 and as many have mentioned you can see all the major animals with the exception of the Rhino's. You have to be patient to see animals as there were times when you would not see anything significant for half hour or so. But the landscape is breathtaking and I can only imagine what it would... It's probably the most well known park in Africa. You will see plenty of wildlife, all of the big 5 except the rhinos (there are only a few) can be seen here on most days. Bring snacks with you as the stuff sold at the gates is limited and way overpriced. Not for those who dislike bumpy dusty roads! It's... More

You will see tons of antelope and wildebeest, with an occasional river crossing. There are many lions and a few cheetahs and the scarce leopard. You will see giraffes, elephants, hippos and crocodiles. We actually spotted a rhino as well. Zebras, wart hogs and mongoose are everywhere. This is a magical place, especially in early August.

our 3 days in the Serengeti where wonderful. A private gamedrive with our 2 daughers ( 21 and 23 yrs) organised by Flash Safaris owned by Duch Magda Vrijs. She arranged our overnight stays at the Kenzan tented lodge. It was very special, good food, friendly people, a fine bed and at night the sounds of the wild.

We took a trip with Amazing Tanzania Tours after a recommendation from the guy at our hotel and we were not disappointed. We went for a 7 day climb of mount Kilimanjaro which in fact turned into a 6 day venture after my girlfriend hurt her ankle. Despite that we both managed to reach the summit thanks to the amazing... Just what I went to the Serengeti for. Imagine a herd,5 herd, 10,herd or more running straight at u. What an awesome sight as u think they will run into your 4X4 and at the last moment they cut and 200-500 Wildebeast divert on another path and miss u. I was told that there r approx.1,200,000 migrating every year. Powerful!... More

My safari in Tanzania was unforgettable. I spent 4 days admiring beautiful landscape and wild animals in Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. It was budget safari and thanks to our driver/ guide Joseph who is also the owner of company Asili Explorer I found out a lot about this area, animals and Tanzania. Company we chose was really good,... More

This seems to be the most visited area of the Serengeti National Park, so it is busy yet so worth it! There is life everywhere, you could not miss it if you tried. I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this part of the Serengeti! We saw more wildlife here than anywhere else, be sure to visit!
