Our excellent guide (David) from Awaken to Africa was able to locate herds of the wildebeest migration for us to view - as this 2015 season the herds have been more split up than usual due to the long grass growth. Lions in the trees and beautiful giraffe were just some of the huge amounts of birds and wildlife we... More

Animals can be found in abundance throughout this beautiful region. We spent several days touring through the area and took a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti plains. Most amazing experience!

There is a reason that so much of the activities in the Serengeti are located around Seronera. Its centrally located and in the middle of a web of creeks and streams that keep wildlife in residence year round. If you can only spend one day in the Serengeti, spend it here.

The place to visit if you want to maximize your experience in Serengeti. Most animals can be seen in this area of the park. A number of public and special camp sites in the area.

Just fabulous!!! We stayed at the Seronera campsite which is very basic but has toilets and washrooms (cold showers), a kitchen and dinning area. Staying in tents is a great way to experience nature close up! We heard lions and hyenas each night we stayed there. The campsite is not fenced and so animals do get very close, take a... More

A visit to the Serengeti makes one feel so much closer to nature and wildlife that exists today. Whereas, the migration is a phenomenon that is absolutely wonderful to witness, even at times when there is no migration, the Serengeti is full of life and the range and numbers of animals and birds that one sees is awesome. On our... More
