We climbed with Kili Climbers & Safari in April! It was the cheapest deal we heard and everything was great. They also offered all the equipments for free. We didn't need anything but a tent as we brought almost everything ourselves. But the couple before us did use most of their stuff and recommend them. Our tour guide - Maro... More

My girlfriend and I did the Marangu route, which despite it being called the easiest/"Coca-Cola" route was plenty tough for me. On the 3rd day you travel 6-8 hours depending on the weather (we trekked in the raining season and it sleeted for the last 2 hours of the hike) to Kibo hut. After reaching Kibo Hut you eat and... I am not really sure how I put put into words my experience of climbing Kilimanjaro. I did this for charity and was with a group of friends. From the moment we arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport we was greeted by our porters who helped us with everything and gave us all a bottle of water which at that moment in... More

It was the toughest thing I've ever done in my life considering that the most exercise I get on a typical day is climbing the stairs of my house. Definitely train before you go, but the altitude sickness can even get the fittest of the group if you climb up too fast. Unfortunately I did not get to the top... More

These guys seem to get good reviews for their Kilimanjaro climbing organisation, but I can tell you that wildlife safaris are not their specialty - unless they purposely chose to lie to us about our itinerary and cancel a full day of safari at the very last minute after having collected the money from us. Simply put, their organisation and... More

We did a private climb - 2 of us with 13 crew - using the TK Rongai route, the "special" Rongai route run by Team Kilimanjaro. We couldn't have picked a better company to go with. The guides were amazing, the food was out of this world and all the staff were fabulous. The TK Rongai route was also a... More

After dreaming about climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for years, I finally embarked on a climb in June of 2014. Wanting to go with a local company rather than a Westernized company, I chose KileoTours.com. The service was incredible, and I successfully reached the summit via the Lemosho route! Would highly recommend visiting the mountain and using Kileo Tours. The guide, Jerome,... More

Incredible experience! Tusker's attention to detail (from beginning to end) is second to none. I have Celiac Disease and Alex (Chef on trip) prepared all my GF meals to make my trip as GF as possible. In addition to doing everything right, I have to make special mention about the awesome Guides and the "Safety First" policy. The guides were... More

We had an exhilarating experience achieving our goals by reaching Uhuru Peak via Lemosho Route. It would not have been possible without the wonderful Shah team of porters and the expertise, support and encouragement of our Guide Jackson and his assistant Albert. Jackson planned every day to ensure we ate well, rested appropriately and acclimatised sufficiently in order to successfully... More
