I booked Thomson based on research about Mt. Kilimanjaro and various operators on the mountain. One of the salesman at REI had just returned from Kilimanjaro and he did the Western approach with them, a nine day trip. I will try to boil this down to the pertinent facts for interested parties. I will try not to sound like an... More

A check mark on the list "Just done it" Kilimanjaro, the roof of Africa and the tallest free standing mountain in the world. Signed up with ClimbKili for the eight day Lemosho route based on research online, like most do in today's internet world. Glad we did. An amazing well coordinated trip from signup and deposit all the way through... More

I did the Kilimanjaro climb with POPOTE AFRICA ADVENTURES and have no regrets! The owner, sabino, and his boys take care of you the whole way! This company is so prepared for the mountain and to get you to the summit! My guides, Edward and Stanley, briefed my bf and I when we arrived in moshi. They went through our... More

Amazing experience! Totally recommend Action Challenge. I climbed Kili on the Machame route in October last year. This was my first experience of attempting anything like this and I was really apprehensive. Action Challenge are there for you every step of the way and answered any questions I had before the trek. Everything was organised very efficiently. Our trek leader... More

Climbing Kili was such an amazing experience, and a large part of that was due to the crew at Popote Africa. They are a small local company, which have only been open for a year or two. Going with a local company means you are paying less, and more of it is going straight back into the community and to... More

One of the Seven Summits, the tallest (base to summit) mountain in the world, the Roof of Africa! If you have the opportunity to climb Kili, DO IT!!! I highly recommend the Western Route! Very few people, much more beautiful and it takes a few days longer, thus you have more time to acclimate to the altitude, which gives you... More

Our experience with Trek2Kili was fantastic. The owner, Azizi, made treats you like you're a personal friend coming to visit. He took us out both before and after the climb for food and whatever else we wanted to do while in Moshi. Having originally started as a porter himself, Azizi's company takes pride in treating their porters well and following... More

Mount Kilimanjaro is an amazing place, and we were able to enjoy it properly with the services of ClimbKili! We had all the help, advice and support we needed from the first day we decided to make the trip, until after we were safely back home after it! All our needs were met including 3-course meals that were even better... More

This is an amazing experience, with guides and support from Intrepid staff we made it to the summit. Everyone was gracious, kind , supportive & full of good humour. Their singing helped us through even the really tough times
