6-day Machame route up to the Roof of Africa, and I could not be more impressed with Youth Adventures and Safaris. I had begun communicating with Godfrey, the managing director, for months beforehand based on a recommendation from a friend and previous summiter. Godfrey was excellent in answering all of my questions, providing great communication, and doing all the little... More

Climbing Kili was one of the high points of my life. I did the Marangu route (huts) which was the quickest (5 days). As a result I did suffer from mountain sickness on the final ascent, but everyone suffers a bit and I was okay because I continued to drink water. I am planning another trip along the Machame route... More

I went there in 2003 up through the Machami route. Quite the challenge of life. But the view above clouds is amazing, will never forget how bright the stars were. The first day and last day was the most challenging, due to cold torrential rain, and extreme cold temperature and lack of air.

With their completely support, encourage and commitment, my husband and me finally fulfill our dreams for this mountain. We are not well trained people to compare with others. And we continue to take the... More

I climbed Kilimanjaro with my two adult children and my daughter's fiance. My daughter got severe altitude sickness on the second day and had to be evacuated (with her fiance). We used the Rongai route because it was less popular and expected to receive less rain in the month in which we walked (November) and the views of the mountain... More

I led a group of four up the Kili challenge in June, 2015. I did heaps of research before choosing an operator to climb with and was influenced by the uniformly positive reports of Ahsante Tours. What's more, in Juliius White, they had the International guide of the year in 2012, so this gave me an idea of their philosophy.... More

While on our way to Zanzibar we crossed the mountain closely and believe me when I say- I've never seen something so breathtaking in my life! Attaching a picture to just show how grand it truely is. This turned me into a mountain lover. Absolutely must visit even if u just get a glimpse of it!

Excellent service. Wonderful people, trust worthy, kind, fun, generous, helpful, Guides and Porters- thank you for a grand trip. Christopher, Raphael and Alfa - we really enjoyed our time with you. Thanks for leading us. A trip of a lifetime! From start to finish, they had every detail covered and knew the mountain inside and out. Highly recommend.

Have just completed a 5 day cycle challenge from Kilimanjaro to Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania as part of a group of 33 raising funds for the Transaid charity. This challenge was superbly managed by Henk Blanckenberg of Classic Tours and assisted by Elias and his team from African Wilderness Adventures (Arusha) who provided superb back up services in the provision... I have been meaning to write this for a while now but we had a great experience with Kessy Brothers and would recommend them to anyone. For my 40th birthday I decided to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and do a African safari, call it a midlife crisis or what ever you want, but our trip was incredible. As I was doing... More
