I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Top Climbers Expedition for going above and beyond my expectations during my Mt Kilimanjaro Trek in Tanzania, via the Machame route (August 2015) We used 6 days up and 1 day down, and we reached the summit. I recommend everyone to use the 7 day trip, not 6 days. We met... More

I recently returned from a fabulous climb up Mount Kilimanjaro with "Majestic Kilimanjaro Treks and Safaris". Preparation for this climb started about 9 months ago with an extensive search of climbing companies. The other company options ranged from very expensive to reasonable. We settled on "Majestic" as mid priced company, but they had a lot of inclusions the other companies... More

Kilimanjaro; a dream for many, a challenge, a goal, a time to reset your life, challenge you body and mind, and have a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I, like many, didn't really know what to expect, but all of my expectations were blown out of the water! The hike was stunning, demanding, rewarding and words really can't describe how standing on top... More

Theres SO much information on kili its incredible. After months of research this is what I recommend. Go with: African Walking Company Book through: African Travel Resource (lowest agent fees, although not the quickest to respond) Ask for guide: JUSTINE THOMAS (incredible/ life saving) Route: Rongai. Less rain, see both sides of the mountain, camp under the amazing Mawenzi peak... More

If I was simply rating the hiking experience with Karibu adventures, I would give them a 5 star rating. The guides, porters, and cooks were fantastic for our 6-day Machame trail hike. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience dealing with Frank, trip organizer. First off, after accepting our money it was very difficult to get in contact with him.... More

I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Serengeti Pride Safaris for both the climb and safari. Erika Bloom, their contact in the US had everything arranged flawlessly and thing went off without a hitch. The guides for the climb were very professional and safety was obviously a number one priority given the safety equipment... More

6 of us climb kili this august month, good organization (high peak trekking tour). Machame route if more diverse and authorized you 1 more day of acclimatization. The 4 first days are easy, the final ascent can be painful if temperature is low (<-15°C) with wind, a lot of dropouts in our case. Anyway, the area is exceptional.

My husband and I were looking for an adventurous honeymoon and found it in Tanzania. We were encouraged by family members to consider trekking Mount Kilimanjaro and not disappointed by the experience. We are both in our early-30s, in good health and had no trouble with the climb. Neither of us experienced altitude sickness which we’ll give credit to a... More

Once struck by the image of Mt. Kilimanjaro, I knew it was something I wanted to experience, up close and personal, for myself. The task of researching guide companies can be over-whelming - an extremely important task, at that, because one's life is in their hands!!! After corresponding with company Co-Owner of Serengeti Pride Safaris, Erika Bloom, we felt secure... More

I've climbed all over the world but have never climbed with such a professional, friendly and well organised operation as Everlasting Tanzania. This is my second time climbing Kilimanjaro and on both occasions I have been a client of Everlasting - they are.... quite simply .... THE BEST. From beginning to end - they were incredible. On both occasions we... More
