5 mature (ish) adults ranging in age from 51-65 reached the summit of Kilimanjaro last October. It took year to plan and train for this amazing and challenging climb. We used the Lemosho Route which was a day longer than the other routes which gave us time to acclimatise. Genuinely I don't know where to start as the whole experience... More

it was a year on the planning, and here I was finally heading out with 9 other challengers, a British GP, a British Guide and 53 assorted Guides, and porters to climb to the top of The highest free standing mountain on our planet! All the hassle of planning the trip had been done for me by London Company Action... More

Let's start with the good news: David has an amazing team. Our guides, Jumanne and Isaiah, were absolute champions and all-round great human beings. Jumanne is incredibly knowledgeable about the flora and fauna on Kili and about the mountain in general, and Isaiah sang us the whole way to the top. They were both very supportive and passionate guides. The... More

I summited Kilimanjaro with the Africa Walking Company (coordinated via Africa Travel Resource) in mid January, 2015 using the Shira route. From start to finish, the experience was top notch. From the pre-climb coordinating with the team (14 of us) at our lodge, to our final lunch together at the base of the mountain, the staff were very warm, knowledgeable... More

My wife and I recently hiked Kilimanjaro with Zara Tours. When we booked the trip we did it through an agent in the UK and didn't really know what kind of experience we were likely to receive with Zara Tours - I'm happy to say we weren't left disappointed. We picked the Machame 6 day route as we wanted something... More

As soon as my friend told me about his Kilimanjaro climb and showed me pictures and video of his experience, I instantly knew that I had to go ASAP. Based on my his glowing review, I went ahead and booked my trip with Peak Planet and made it to the top via the Machame route! I just got back last... More

I did a great deal of research before choosing climb kili and feel that they did a good job. They specialize in small groups from 1-6 people. It turned out that there were 10 of us doing the 8 day lemosho on the same date, so they had us split into a group of 6 and a group of 4,... More

I booked the 7 day Machane route with a co called Afrishare from Moshi. Was treated so well and with a little encouragement from my guide I completed it in 6 days. He watched me very closely for headache, dizziness, or upset stomach etc. The porter and cook did an excellent job as well. The meals were basic but delicious.... More

I found this company to be friendly and the best value for what we wanted to do. It was in no way the most luxurious, but they looked after us and made this an experience I'll always remember. If you are looking for an adventure that'll keep you talking and reminiscing forever, this is the tour to go on. They... More
