This "museum" consists of home structures from various tribes and areas of Tanzania. There is little description and it leaves the visitor curious and puzzled about the structures and lifestyles. It felt like so much more should have been occurring -- there were men at drums and an area with chairs, but no signs or information about drumming or dancing... More

There were many tribal huts with descriptions in English and Swahili representing quite a few of the tribes in Tanzania. While we were there some performers also did a musical rain dance for tips. All in all kind of cool, but don't go super out of your way to go unless you really really like huts. More

Quite informative if you are researching dwellings in central Africa but I found it all rather tedious. Exhibits could be made more interesting and perhaps livened up a little as this is little more than a collection of different hut types in a central park More

You can get into the skin of Tanzania, its people and its villages. Beautiful and serene. The tribal dance and music shows are a must watch, they are fantastic and mesmerizing. You cant find these anywhere else in the world. We attended a wedding here, it felt like we were transported to a wedding function in the heart of Africa.... More
