The most fantastic place I've ever seen. My guide told me that they call Ngorongoro a piece of paradise on earth. It sounds totally true! The views when descending into the crater are absolutely mind-blowing!

Perfectly organized tour by Kilidove and our great driver and guide Roger! Although at first disappointed by the damage that overgrazing causes in the Ngorongoro Reserve - the Maasai have a lot of cattle, too much for the area... - we really enjoyed the wildlife and landscapes of the Ngorongoro crater, rhinos, cheetah, liosn, etc etc

Ngorongoro is a crater that has collapsed 600 meters. In the crater you can see a lot of animals.
Lions, lepards, elephants, black rhinos, buffalos. (The big five). You can also see cheetas, zebras, wildebeests (gnus) and a lot of more, but no giraffs.

The Crater and its animals were great, but sort of a let down, as we visited it after Ndutu and Serengeti. A good place to see everything if you only have a couple of days.

I'm not sure what we paid park entry for, but from there on you had to pay extra for anything you wanted to do. An extra $200US to go into the crater, an...

annd remeber, the entrance fee 50 us, per day to stay in the conservation area, and more 200 us per car, so keep in mind this money. the open gate at 7 am is the better time to begin your safari, a binocular is mandatory and nice camera, the combination of swamp, small river and the central lake made this a...

We were so close to zebras and wildebeast, you could see their fur. There are black rhinos there, lions and cheetahs. Lunch at the lake was amazing. Of course, you had to watch out for the black kites flying everywhere.
