After a long drive down from Malaga we hit the ferry and about an hour later arrived in Tangier, Morocco. There were only five of us as both groups had booked the small group Viator tour ( definitely worth the money). Once through customs ( not long) we met our local guide and driver for a tour of the islands... More

We walked around for a while and bought some small gifts. It was lots of fun and not overcrowded. Nobody was over aggressive and everyone very friendly. Just like any markets like this one I recommend keeping your personal items close, just common sense thinking.

This was the highlight of our trip. We spend the day with a tour guide walking the ancient streets of the Kasbah and it was an amazing and informative day. I would highly recommend. This is the place to buy some local rugs and such. Great value!!

I’ll admit it, I spent 5 days in Morocco (Tangier and Marrkesh) and I still don’t really understand what the difference is between the Casbah and the Medina. They blend together in my head, truthfully. So, I’ll just review them both simultaneously as possibly you won’t understand the difference either, in which case my review will fit appropriately to both!... More

loved the local artisan wares, dislike the negotiating process, shopkeepers were very polite, even offered me mint tea while shopping

The rainy weather influenced the speed with which we went through the Casbah. However, they are trying really hard to retain the character and feel of the area and it was my first experience in this type of setting. The people are very nice but the vendors on the streets overwhelmed you at times. The homes and structures were neat to... More

The view from the kasbah is great, but unfortunately there's not that much left besides the walls. It's worth going there though.

One of the better 'kasbahs" in the Mediterranean, with the irrepressible carpet shop, silverware and trinket sellers, coffee and mint tea joints and the deluge of bustling humans. For interested people - an amazing history with historical places relevant to literature, history, trade. For newcomers, quick lessons in learning to deal with the Souther coast - volunteer "guides" steering their... More

Close to the Medina. Nice view on the sea/Gilbraltar if the weather is nice. Average but not outstanding.

The four hour walk through the Kasbah was a highlight of our visit to Morocco. The sights, sounds, smells and tastes were all that we could ask for. We went with a licensed guide who had been born there so the experience was truly a local flavor. Lunch at the Restaurant Kasbah (7 Ave Gzenaya) was a delight. My advice... More
