Rachid Aztat organised a trek to the summit of Toubkal for myself and fourteen friends in June 2014. I want to thank him for such an excellent job. From the moment he picked us up at Marrakech Airport until the time he returned us to the Medina we were in his safe hands. We are a pretty mixed group and... More

Took a day up to the Atlas Mountains to an area called Imli, had a lovely walk around the area, the guide was excellent and so well mannered, then we ate lunch at a Berber household and had one of the best meals all week! Definitely a must do if you can fit it in to your stay

Make sure you wear trainers or something else comfortable so you can see all of the waterfalls. The first two are easily reachable in flip flops but only if you are relatively fit and able. It's a beautiful scenic area completely different to central Marrakech and definitely worth taking the day to explore and experience the life of the Berber... More

Seeing these Berber people living in there villages in these mountains was very special. They are very nice people making us the best mint tea in Morrocco. Living in mud huts and travelling some 3 hours by donkey to the nearest market to sell there produce in an area that had snow on its peaks but in its 30 at... More

He stopped off at certain set points and explained about the Berbers and how they live. We then stopped off at a farmers house he welcomed all of us into his home gave is home... More

The Atlas mountains are truly breathtaking, the scenery is amazing on the way up the mountains, our tour was excellent, stopped off at a farmers house and had bread and the green and mint tea which was lovely. The restaurant we also stopped at had the most amazing views of the mountains, the food was good too.

I am just back from an amazing 4 day hike to the summit of Mt Toubkal with 3 of my friends! Our route took us through several Berber villages before continuing to the summit of Mt Toubkal (4167m) on the fourth day. Our guide Rachid was really friendly and was happy to chat to us throughout the trek, answering any... More

Amazing day with fabulous food! The views were spectacular although our 4x4 driver didn't speak English so feel we may have missed out a little on info. But did have regular stops were the main guide gave us lots of details.

I seriously couldn't recommend Rachid more. I went on a 4 day hike through the Atlas Mountains, with three of my friends -all girls! We went via various Berber villages, and concluded with summitting Mt Toubkal (4167m). Rachid and his team were 100% genuine, friendly and experienced. They were willing to answer many questions, from hiking and landscape to culture... More
