Hard to believe this was once a luxurious palace with walls and ceilings adorned with gold leaf! This really is a wonderful place to explore and incredible value for money. We spent several hours at the site exploring the grounds and various ruins of quarters both above and below ground, all the while keeping an eye on the storks nesting on the high walls. Look out for locals offering to show you the way to the spice market. They may take you to this local shop where the owner will try to sell you spices at unbelievably high prices. On a very hot day we still found the energy to wander around the grounds. Part is quite ruined, however there are some great doorways and mosaics and you can definitely get a feeling how things used to be.

I payed for the entry and I was sure that it will be something intersting, at least something...but it was nothing.
