This is not a tourist attraction. We walked from the square to see it and were disappointed that we were not even able to take a photo of the main gate. The guards were pretty quick with the shake of the head and waggling finger. The gardens were well cared for though.

we saw it when we were on the horse cart..No pics allowed outside the palace gates etc, due to security reasons (just like all Arabic countries). Not a tourist attraction by any means - don't bother, you won't miss out on much The palace itself is not very grand either so its a worthless visit

You cannot go into the Royal Palace nor can you take any photographs which is due to security reasons so understandable You can see a little more if you take one of the city bus tours and the commentary will give you more info about it The guards outside the palace are wonderful to see in all their various uniforms

Unfortunately the royal palace is an attraction that visitors cannot visit. Therefore when attempting to visit this place you will end up walking a long distance to see walls and guards. You also see the tops of large garden that is huge in size but is also unavailable to visit (or apparently it is open to the public only one... More

You can't get too close to the Palace and you can't take photos. Really isnt a place I would put on my list of things to see.

The royal palace is a no entry zone so the only thing you can marvel at is......you guessed it the palace car park. By far the most pointless tourist attraction ever. On the positive side the guards were very pleasant and pointed out the different entrences to exit the oversided car park.

Prince of Morocco was staying in his Palace the weekend we were there. Security was tight no photos were allowed and police were all around in groups of 3/4 after every 20 meters...

And got shouted at by someone who I can only assume was a plain clothed security guard. Keep walking. Pointless and nothing except a wall to see.

Why terrible, simple, you can't take pictures, visits are not allowed, all that you see is the wall surrounding the palace!

Location is within walking distance from El f'na. You are not allowed to take pictures of the guards or the walls. My daughter took a picture which happened to include an obscure section of the wall and was approached by plain clothes police and Army. So be warned.
