Nicely designed and maintained gardens, similar to those of Generalife in Granada, Spain. It’s a good place to recoup from the intensity of the market atmosphere.

A garden owned by YSL foundation, beautifully conserved and just a short walk (20 mins) from the centre of Marrakech. Maybe a little bit pricey the entrance (50 dirhams) however overall I believe it's worthy a visit while in Marrakech, to escape the chaos of Medina, an oasis of peace and green where finding a refuge for 1hr or more.

Beautiful gardens... Stunning colours and a lovely sense of relaxation about it.. That is despite the number of people there... How wonderful it must be when empty! Nice shop though a little expensive. We didn't make it to the museum as we had had a walking tour all morning and were somewhat exhausted! Worth a trip

Yves St. Laurent was right to preserve this sanctuary in the middle of Marrakesh. The garden is heavenly, a true oasis.

Lovely plants and museum although no photos allowed inside. Quite small so therefore felt that admission could have been cheaper. Cafes outside the garden are more expensive than the main city.

It is worth spending approx an hour here. There wasn't a huge amount of variety in terms of flowers / trees but it was very peaceful and was a nice contrast to the bustling squares and streets of Marrakech. Worth having some mint tea and a bite to eat in the cafe.

Marrakech is a wild and exciting city. However there is not that much to see or do other than shop. Morocco and it's tourist trade seem oblivious to the fact that this city is experience-lite when it comes to entertaining the culturally curious tourist and after visiting the Medina and souks it soon loses it's appeal. The Jardin Majorelle is... More

The gardens are beautiful, but I found it to be over-rated. It is a nice respite from walking around the souk though. But the Berber Museum, which you have to pay to get into, was amazing. I really learned a lot and the jewelry displays were amazing. It made the Majorelle Gardens worthwhile for me actually :)

The gardens are very well maintained, the variety of cactusses is amazing. We arrived at closing time of the museum but thankfully were still allowed to visit the museum. It was fantastic! Not too big but the collection was so beautiful! The little shop was also nice to buy some souvenirs. Outside the gardens are a few shops that sell... More

Lovely gardens, very colourful and lots of opportunities for pictures! Would definitely recommended as a place to visit whilst in Marrakech.
