Nicely designed and maintained gardens, similar to those of Generalife in Granada, Spain. It’s a good place to recoup from the intensity of the market atmosphere.

Out of this world

Words cannot explain how beautiful these gardens are, you feel like you are in a different world once you go through the gate away from the hustle and bustle of the medina outside

If you like Cacti you will love this garden, it is an oasis of calm on the edge of the town. My husband is not a cacti lover but even he thought they were amazing, I have never seens such a fabulous display

Brilliant museum and love seeing YSL's posters, the coffee shop in the courtyard was a lovely place to relax for a while.

If you love ecclectic gardens and Yves Saint Laurent, then this is a haven of tranquility for fashion and art lovers ....a garden and fashion fusion! This is very different so dont expect anything like an English country garden. Entrance is about 50 dirham and the museum dirham extra. An hour will be enough.

Cactuses like we had never seen before; 'house-plants' growing outdoors; terrapins in the pond with the goldfish; unknown birds to identify; brilliant blue and yellow pottery. Also WC available.

Beautifully peaceful, the Jardin Marjorelle is ideal for a quiet afternoon away from the chaos of the city centre. You can walk around and look at the extremely well-kept gravel gardens and cacti, or find a shady spot to settle down in and enjoy the view over the fish ponds and bright blue and yellow museum. Here you'll also find... More

So glad we visited this whilst in Marrakesh. 50 dh about £4 entrance. From entering the busy road outside you are suddenly submerged into a haven of tranquility and beautiful greys of the many different cacti and trees and azure blue and canary yellow paintwork. We had a coffee in the cafe and not cheap but an experience to sit... More

We went early to avoid the crowds and tried walking there - map was hopeless but speaking French helped and we found it - get a taxi or a carriage. Gardens themselves - beautiful, relaxing, places to sit, listen and just relax. Cafe great too. Don't miss it

It was overpriced and nothing special. The whole garden took less than 20 minutes to explore. However in the mid summer heat I can imagine it would be a welcome shade from the sun. There are plenty of lovely garden's in Marraheck to see for free so save your money.

Jardin Majorelle is very pleasant place to spend some time. The bright yellows, blues and oranges of the plant pots are a lovely contrast to the greenery. It's very quiet, so a nice place to take some time out from the hustle and bustle of Morocco. There is a very pleasant looking cafe and although it's a little expensive looks... More
