This house and gardens belonged to a painter and then Yves Saint Laurent bought it and he spend the last years of his life improving the place with his good taste. His ashes are buried there. Every corner is worth a photo, difficult when tens of tourists are all around; try it first thing in the morning or late in... More

Lovely gardens with beautiful colours and array of foliage. Look out for the terrapins in the pond and take tea in the pretty cafe.

Peaceful and colourful with a brilliant courtyard restaurant for lunch. Excellent value at 50 Dirhams and for an extra 25 dirhams the Berber Museum is well worth a visit while you are there.

This was the highlight of my visit to Marrakech. It is unique and beautiful and, even with the crowds, very peaceful. A tropical paradise filled with exquisite exotic plants and birdsong. The famous majorelle blue is used to wonderful effect. I wish I had lived there!

If you'v got some time to kill, and you fancy a wander around in some greenery, then go for it. But if you're pushed for time and have other things you'd like to do, give this one a miss. Nothing wrong with it, but it's not very big, and you just follow a path around a garden of plants which... More

As a keen gardener I was looking forward to Jardin Majorelle and after a 24 hour flight from Sydney was looking forward to an oasis of calm and greenery. The cacti are impressive in their variety and planting design. I liked the fountain and some of the pathways painted in vivid blue. I did not find the garden relaxing as... More

What an extensive collection of beautiful and unusual plants for a dry environment! The paths led past water features and everywhere was the vibrant colour of "Majorelle Blue".
