Nothing can really prepare you for what a lovely oasis amonst all the mayhem of Marrakech this is. there must be thousands of photo opportunities here. The cafe if rather pricey is a lovely spot for a pot of mint tea. Try to arrive early to avoid the crowds. Will only take 1-1/2 hrs for a visit. Relax & enjoy... more

I visited the Majorelle Gardens (also known as the Yves St Laurent Gardens) twice during my visit to Marrakech. I was bowled over. The artist Majorelle designed these beautiful tranquil gardens then they were bought and brought back to life latterly by St Laurent. Cacti, fountains, beautiful tiled walkways and stunningly colouted pots and bamboos. All a haven of peace... more

This tranquil cactus garden provides a very lovely space in which you can just relax ,and contemplate whatever it is that you need to think about come the time. It is immaculately maintained, a cool retreat from what can be a stinking hot city during May & June, and it's also an easily manageable size, so definitely well worth a... more

This is a great place to go to shake of the dust and heat of Marrakech. A 10dh taxi ride from the Place Djemma el Fna could be a million miles away. Entered from a slightly incongrous alley past some new building development you step through the gate into another world. Entry to gardens only was 30DH/person. The Museum of... more

If you are tired of walking in the noisy streets, Majorelle gardens are very refreshing exprience. The atmosphere is amazingly peaceful and relaxing (expecially if you visit there straight on the morning). We loved the fountain and stylish colours everywhere. I think the Majorelle gardens are one of the best attractions in Marrakech. more

Go right when it opens 9 am. It is so peaceful and beautiful. The gift store is pricey as is the cafe- but to be surrounded by such a well-maintained diverse garden- it is worth every dirham. more

We enjoyed our relaxing walk through the garden. Nice enough escape from the hustle and bustle although the garden is not big at all. more
