We love visiting this place as we are interested in both art and gardens and it does not disappoint on either level. We sometimes feel that more could be done as it is such a lovely place. The garden was looking a little less well looked than on our last trip but still charming. It would be nice to enjoy... More

Visited last year and again this year. My husband is an Artist so it was extremely interesting for him as well as me . All very peaceful . They could make more of it with a small cafe but i expect the finance isnt there ! Take a taxi from the square and ask them to wait which they will.... More

I prefer this sanctuary of calm to the over-hyped Majorelle gardens. The extensive and well-curated art collection is unmissable. The grounds and gardens are gorgeous and you could happily spend hours here relaxing.

Sorry but this place is not worth the effort to get to. I think other reviewers are confused - there are no camels here. It is just a very small garden and a couple of rooms with art work in some of which was good but most of which looked like the work of students. It's in the middle of... More

Nice attractions...can easily be done in an hour. Dont ride the camels...rip off...wait to do that elsewhere. Make sure to go inside the meeting area of the sultans and see the reflection/cooling pool.

We had the place to ourselves when we went last week and enjoyed wandering round the beautiful flower and cactus gardens, and seeing some frogs and the tortoise. I personally enjoyed the garden more than the art! There were some tables and chairs but sadly no cafe facilities - perhaps this will come. At 40 dirams entry fee, it was... More

We cycled here from our hotel, Mosaic palais aziza. It took 15 minutes and wasn't too hair raising! What an oasis; we were charmed by this beautiful garden and gallery. We were very lucky to visit whilst a Mali Binebine exhibition was on (ends 30 April) we were knocked out by this artist's work which was very effectively curated. There... More

Take a cab and let it wait for you while visisting. The garden is more interesting than the museum of modern art. Specially the cactus garden is worth the trip. Visit Musee de la Palmerie the samde day that you visit La Majorelle.

A real gem out of the beaten track: It s an oasis of art and nature only 10 or 15 minutes from the mayhem of central Marrakech but well worth the detour. We had the galleries and gardens to ourselves and went back twice in two weeks- everytime a dellightful visit. Choose one of the very special fragrances sold in... More

We found this little gem at the second attempt. The sign boards aren't helpful. But it was worth the visit. Whilst not the biggest collection of art, the examples are varied, and probably because we were not overwhelmed by the quantity we could more appreciate the quality. There was no guide, nobody to ask about the exhibits, and not a... More
