Jardin Marjorelle and Musee de la Palmeraie both have beautiful gardens. Jardin Marjorelle is just outside the Medina (very convenient); Musee dela Palmeraie is a ten minute taxi ride away. Jardin Marjorelle has a Berber museum - very interesting but we had to wait in line to get in and no photos. Musee de la Palmeraie has a wonderful collection... More

What a surprise ! La Palmeraie offers an harmonious blend of nature and culture. This liitle museum houses a good collection of modern paintings, interesting photos, nice calligraphy and sculptures. The all nestling in very fine thematic gardens : Andalusian, dry, with splendid cactus, a tipycal water garden, an orchard, a kitchen garden and a collection of roses, be aware... More

We stayed in a Hotel close to the palmerai, the day was not hot and we decided to go somewhere with the kids. The place us not big, but they have a good selection of cactus, (we were lucky, because during the month of october they bloom) they have some art made by moroccan artist, and a garden with a... We love visiting this place as we are interested in both art and gardens and it does not disappoint on either level. We sometimes feel that more could be done as it is such a lovely place. The garden was looking a little less well looked than on our last trip but still charming. It would be nice to enjoy... More

I prefer this sanctuary of calm to the over-hyped Majorelle gardens. The extensive and well-curated art collection is unmissable. The grounds and gardens are gorgeous and you could happily spend hours here relaxing.

Sorry but this place is not worth the effort to get to. I think other reviewers are confused - there are no camels here. It is just a very small garden and a couple of rooms with art work in some of which was good but most of which looked like the work of students. It's in the middle of... More

Nice attractions...can easily be done in an hour. Dont ride the camels...rip off...wait to do that elsewhere. Make sure to go inside the meeting area of the sultans and see the reflection/cooling pool.

We had the place to ourselves when we went last week and enjoyed wandering round the beautiful flower and cactus gardens, and seeing some frogs and the tortoise. I personally enjoyed the garden more than the art! There were some tables and chairs but sadly no cafe facilities - perhaps this will come. At 40 dirams entry fee, it was... More

We cycled here from our hotel, Mosaic palais aziza. It took 15 minutes and wasn't too hair raising! What an oasis; we were charmed by this beautiful garden and gallery. We were very lucky to visit whilst a Mali Binebine exhibition was on (ends 30 April) we were knocked out by this artist's work which was very effectively curated. There... More
