Marrakesh by Air

An early start, but well worth it. Seeing the sun rise over the Atlas Mountains from a hot air balloon is an experience not to be missed.

We arranged a private tour with Senhaji Zaher through the La Mamounia Hotel. He took five of us through the Medina, the Mellah and the Kasbah. He is extremely knowledgeable of the history, culture, customs and he explained everything in excellent English. He has a sense of humour that was exhibited in all of the discussions he held. His email... More

It was a one day excursion that was a excellent quiet moment outside of the city, mother nature was great as usual and the calm was outstanding

We did three tours into the Atlas Mountains, two with local guides called Mohammed. Ourika valley was a quick and exerted 50 minutes unto the falls and back down. Great guide. Ouzoud falls was superb to see and well worth a long day out - 3 hours there and back. We also did a walk at Imlil with a guide... More

Lovely place. Golden sands, but a fish port. Medina was lovely not harassed like in marrakech and a good tour, very smelly but a fun day out. Was interesting to see people in everyday life, haggle and go up to about 1/4 of what they ask for, prine example fake sunglasses-wanted 100dinar, got them for 3. The views from the... More

Atlas mountains are stunning. Amazing view but only for strong and able bodied people. Soul-market are full of fantastic goodies but you have to bargain a lot.

We went on a few tours. The Atlas Mountains is a must as you visit a lot of authentic barber villages on route and it is the true Morocco. We also went to the coastal fishing village of Essaouira. Very pretty and had a wonderful lunch of fresh fish at a restaurant there. Visited Agadir but not that impressed as... More

Great guide told us so much about the history and it was lovely to wander the streets investigating the city. You can do 2 half days but combining the 2 is a nice day out
