We spent over 3 hours with Rachid in what was an incredibly interesting and engaging tour. We were taken into areas of the Medina we would never have found by ourselves, and were able to converse with Rachid about any Marrakech topic we wished to discuss / had questions about. Rachid was extremely professional, knowledgeable, personable and I would highly... More

This review is long overdue. Last year my hisband and I visited Morocco and enjoyed this wonderful walking tour of Marrakech. I'd recommend you take this walk on your first day to get acquainted with walking around the city. Rachid is very friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to about his country and experiences. It's a bonus that there's... More

We found Rachid on TripAdvisor and on the strength of the recommendations there booked him for a private half-day tour with our two young children (8 and 10). I can only echo what others have said: Rachid was extremely professional, knowledgeable, personable, and everything else that one would want in a guide. It was great to see some of the... More

Do it - we were 8 people (adults and children) guided through the Medina to places we would never have found on our own. Rashid picked us up at our Riad and showed us that finding our way in this puzzle of small allies is not that difficult. He is easy to understand, has an huge knowledge of both history,... More

We had booked Rachid to guide us through Marrakech our first morning. He met us at our Riad in the Medina and we spent the next three hours with him. Rachid is a modern Moroccan with a great respect for the culture and history. We had good discussions around the modern and older Morocco. Rachid were also very good at... More

Rachid came to our Riad in a 3-piece white suit, aviator shades, and panama hat. he was the coolest looking guy walking the medina. he spoke about everything - history, culture, politics, religion, the inner-workings of the media (on the verge of too much information, but all of it interesting). he seems to be a truly honest and good-willed person... The rain did not ruin our walking tour of marrekech rashid haggled for an umbrella for us and away we went. His knowledge is excellent and we found him friendly and interesting. A good start to our trip which helped us relax around the madness of marrekech.

The best bazaar I have ever seen in Arab countries. Prices are not expensive subject you know how to bargain. Moroccon people are nice and friendly. Argan oil is genuine in most of the places and leather products are cheap in BAB DEBAGH section of Medina.

As a first time visitor to Marrakesh with my husband and in-laws, I hugely enjoyed this walking tour with Rachid. He was extremely knowledgeable and most engaging. He was very attentive to our interests, and was able offer insight on much more than the souks themselves. A real gem of a guide, and a great way to begin a visit!

We couldn't have had a better tour guide than Rachid Bousselem, a true scholar and excellent tour guide. Rachid took my 20-year-old son, 75-year-old mother, and me on a walking tour of Marrakech, where we visited numerous cultural and historical sites. As my son is a college student of Arabic language and Middle East studies, Rachid concentrated on teaching my... More
