The Henna Cafe was a breath of fresh air. They were hospitable and the prices were very reasonable. That's compared to henna at Jemaa Al-Fnaa. At Jemaa Al-Fnaa, we got ripped off. They used the old bait and switch method. Showing us the prices for locals (about MAD 45) then after they were done they switched the books which had... More

We are just after leaving this cafe after having tea, humous with bread and olives, and a meatball and egg (kafta) tagine. The food was delicious!! We also met the turtles, and have a lovely chat with Jamila who gave us some great advice about some nice places to eat and visit while here. Truly lovely place, and we will... More

7 friends and I heard about Henna Cafe on Tripadvisor so decided to give it a bash! Walking from the Main Street you have to keep an eye out for the cafe on your left. We made our way up to the top floor where's there's a nice terrace - but as we were a big group we chilled on... More

We visited on our last day in Marrakech so my daughter could have a Henna done and after reading the reviews we sought out the Henna Cafe. What a fantastic place, we spent a few very chilled hours just watching as people had henna applied. We have a lovely lunch and watches the resident tortoise walking around the place. Great... More

Really nice place with great ideals. Food good, couscous a little bland but all else fantastic. Very nice service, nice people. Hard to find but worth it.

After reading previous reviews we sought this little place out rather than have the Henna done in the square. My daughter had a lady who had 30 yrs experience and only had to look at her chosen picture twice to create an exact replica. Excellent English spoken and lovely traditional tea served. Prepare to be there for an hour or... More

This little cafe is a bit difficult to find but is worth a visit for a meal and henna tattoo. There is a very relaxed feel here and the staff are welcoming. The henna costs from 50dh and the meals are around 40dh (under £3.00).

Had my first Henna here. I met the manager who explained that Henna is not supposed to be black. Henna cafe uses only organic Henna. The lady who drew was really detailed and quick. I am really quite satisfied with my Henna. I watched other people's being done and it's amazing the lady can do such a job so quickly... More

Me and my family went here at the beginning of July. The staff were very kind and because of my sister being in a wheelchair she was unable to get up the the flights of stairs to the terrace to have her henna so the lady allowed us to have it done on the ground floor in one of her... More
