We spent the morning wandering in the medina, which led to a big appetite. The Henna Cafe was located close to the Riad Sara, where we were staying, so we popped up for lunch. The falafel was excellent - perhaps the best I've ever had. It had herbs and spices you could see and the flavor was amazing. Tiny tortoises... More

We stopped by the Henna Cafe after hearing from friends it was the place to go for henna whilst in Marrakech and they weren't wrong. Not only was the henna beautiful but the food was really good, the atmosphere was great and the whole experience was calming and a nice change from busy Marrakech. Will definitely be back when next... More

Well worth the stop for yummy tea! We enjoyed ours while watching a group of three getting their tatoos! Take an extra peek at the decorations on the walls and the books on the tables. See if you can find the tortoise!

We really wanted to love this place as Marrakech is tricky for vegans/ veggies. However we order very simple food: salad, hummus and falafel yet it took over one hour with no warning as to how long we had to wait. Salad and falafel were tasteless and the hummus was simply mashed up chickpea with no tahini or lemon juice.... More

We read about this cafe before travelling to the city. I loved that the money from the cafe supports free english classes downstairs. Great tattoos by a lovely lady..not the cheapest but quality and care. Thank to all x

This little cafe offers amazing tea and yummy food. It is a great escape from the hectic shopping. While you wait for your food be sure to get a henna tattoo from the sweet and talented lady. I especially like that they use some of the proceeds to fund programs for the locals. Great place all around!

Stumbled across this cafe as it was 2 seconds from our hotel and noticed firstly how cheap it was so thought we'd give it a try. We sat up on the terrace and had the tagine which was lovely and some of the mint tea. What we liked about the place was that all the money went to a good... More

Ventured here as it appealed that the café supports charity work in Marrakesh to help local people. But still wanted good food for lunch, and that's what we got. I had homemade vegetable soup, followed by a cream cheese, tomato and avocado sandwich and my husband had felafal sandwich with a tomato and onion salad, along with a large bottle... More

We found our way to the Henna cafe after a busy morning shopping. We initially got a taxi to take us as close as possible as we were worried about walking round in circles trying to find it. It is literally only a couple of minutes by car from the main medina, but would be less than a ten minute... More

a little out of the way. i was not overly impressed as the space was tiny, the food and drinks just average, and my henna seemingly failed to take and lasted just 2 days.
