With all of the ladies in the Jemma el Fna square offering Henna, it got me thinking – why not?! Then we found the Henna Café – what a wonderful place! We found it easily (it’s on the main street, one or two doors away from a corner), although it wasn’t open at 10.30am when we first arrived. We returned... More

During my week in Marrakech I visited the henna cafe twice. My first visit was purely to get henna done, the henna artists are ridiculously good at what they do. Every design was perfectly symmetrical and not one girl was disappointed with their tattoo. However, only certain people's came out the next day. Never the less it was a lovely... More

Go here if you'd like henna done; I trust these girls much more than those in the main square! My henna was great and so quick! The first floor of the cafe was quite busy and full of students so it's popular with the locals. The cafe was very busy so we did have to wait a little while but... More

From the outside the henna cafe doesn't look the most welcoming place. But the staff here were very helpful. We only had drinks which were good. My girlfriend had a henna which was great and looked good. Would recommend going here over getting a dodgy henna in the main square.

Just had to visit the Henna Cafe for a cup of coffee after reading all the positive reviews. My first impression and overal experience wasn't so good however. The place itself was below avarage. Decorations and furnitures (like tables and chairs) was crapy. The service was ok and the price also - but simply avarage. There are several places within... More

We stopped here so our kids could get henna without the worry of substandard product that is used in the markets. The rooftop was full so we settled for one level down. Comfortable seating and a view to the street. The restaurant has adopted a tiny kitten named Venus who turned out to be a Bit of a pest as... More

We loved this place. we loved the food-felafel sandwich (best vegetarian food we had) and klear sandwich. we loved the vibe here-very laid back but swift service and friendly welcome. We loved the organic henna which was incredibly intricate and beautiful-done by the best henna artist in Marrakech apparently. We were well taken care of and i was very happy... More

My wife and I stumbled on this cafe while looking for something for our daughter. Great place , good food and very good henna artist. My 3 year old requested a butterfly and the lady did it for her. You won't be disappointed.
