Waited 2 hrs for lunch and when it came the food was very bland. Yes the tortoises are very cute but should they really be crawling around a stone floor with no vegetation, almost being trod on.

It is well hidden in the mist of moroccan society. Authentic , welcoming, relaxing, and well worth a visit. Henna designed by experienced artisans , aftercare provided and proceeds are then given towards specific projects and education within the community 💛💜

Went there on purpose and it took a bit to find it but hey, it was totally worth it. We had sandwiches, which were good and tasty, and a henna tattoo which I so loved. My rating refers more to the experience rather than to the food, of course this is not a 5-star restaurant or anything but I was... More

It is a small place with an even smaller rooftop terrace and it is not easy to find. Atmosphere is very relaxed, nice staff. Small menue, but good. A little bit pricey.

Not a great start to the trip, with the conceirge at our hotel pointing us to the wrong location on the map! We tried to follow his directions, got absolutely lost and ended up doing a half circuit of the city for 1.5 hours! For info, the easiest way to get to Henna cafe is to stand with the Khatoubia right... More

A pleasant ambiance, enjoyable food, henna tattoos on the spot, all in a very worthwhile local cause.

This is responsible tourism at its very best. This café serves simple but really authentic food and berber teas-best of all they donate ALL the profits to help the poorer people of Morocco. It s a great place to really connect with the locals as it is a student hang out as well since the Moroccan students are volunteers teaching... More

What an awesome place this is - an oasis in the heat and tensions of the City's souks. We spent a number of happy hours in the peaceful rooftop terrace with its roaming tortoises. Really friendly staff, good food and the beginners Arabic lessons are a bargain at 20dhs. Don't miss it!

Ah, you must go here! It's a tad hard to find but totally worth it when you do! The staff were really friendly at this rooftop cafe. What I also loved about it was the fact that all the proceeds go to local amenities. So it's a charitable cause too. The Henna tattoo itself was really cheap but very professional.... More
