Unfortunately I was ill and unable to go to the class but my husband and adult children did and they loved it. They all said it was the highlight of our trip and they laughed all the way through the class thanks to the humour of the host. I have seen the photos and it looked great. From an organisational... My boyfriend and myself had a great day with Michel and Fathima at the start of our trip to Marrakech. The pick up was seemless and once we arrived we were offered mint tea and coffee with the rest of the group (around 10 people). We learned how to make Moroccan bread, salads, pancakes (msemen) and a lamb tagine. We... More

Had a wonderful introduction to Moroccan food and spices with Michel and Fathima on Monday. It was our first day in marrakech and a great start. We were collected promptly and met about 10 others at the school which is situated on the outskirts amidst orange and olive trees. We made delicious bread, though I say it myself, a great... More

My daughter (14) and myself went in mid February to Marrakech and participated on a Monday at the cooking course of "Faim d'Epices". This was one of the best days in Marrakech, we learned a lot (Tagine d'agneau with prunes, made bread, leared to do traditionnal salades) and at the same time had great fun (starting with rose blind glases... We had a brilliant day with Faimd'Epices team, learned about spices, cooked and ate great food. We chose the lamb tagine day, and cooked our own bread and pancakes as well as the tagine, which was absolutely fantastic - probably as good as the best tagine we had all trip. there is a bit of waiting and killing time but... My boyfriend and I have just come back from a day cooking with Michel and Fathima, we cooked beef tagine with peas and artichokes, made the traditional bread, crepes and saw how to make the many moroccan salads! We also had a lesson in moroccan spices which was very educational and interesting. Everything tasted delicious and the day itself was... More

Had a truly magical day from start to finish. Was picked up from my hotel and made a couple of other stops to pick up others. There was an enjoyable trip out to a farm outside of the city. Michel is an excellent host and kept us entertained on the journey. We did a blind testing of key Moroccan spices... More

Fun experience - loved all the spices and new recipes! They picked us up at our hotel, and also offered a package with a spa after, and gave us a ride there. High quality, relaxed, beautiful, clean - Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our day at the Faim d'Epices. This was more than just a cooking class, we learned about spices, techniques and Moroccan culture in a friendly sociable environment. Really worth it! Thanks to Michel and Fatiha for a memorable day. Have already had a practice run at home which was well received!

My partner and I had a fantastic day at Faim d'Epices. Michel and Fatiha were such great hosts and teachers! I would really recommend this if you have a spare day in Marrakech. Its so much fun and a good laugh as you get to chat away to other tourists and find out what they have been up to. We... More
