We had a wonderful day out learning about, cooking and eating some Moroccan food. We were a family of six and were all catered for as we had a couple of vegetarians. Fantastic hosts that kept us amused and made us feel at home. It was also great to get out of the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh, see some... More

Michel and his lovely wife Alham were just brilliant. Michel is totally nuts and his lovely wife is clearly long suffering. A really lovely couple who have a well thought out and fantastically planned business. A great location a little away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech in a beautiful orange and olive grove. it takes place in a... More

This was a half-day experience which was both knowledgeable and so much fun. You are taught to make your own bread, tagine, salads and Moroccan pancakes, with a great structure which allows you lots of hands-on time as well as ample demonstrations. There is also a Spice Test which introduces you to Moroccan spices and sets a solid foundation for... More

We had a really enjoyable day at the Faim d'epices cookery school. Lovely facilities, lovely people, and great food. I learnt a lot about spices in the spice workshop, and then we used them making a delicious Tagine. There were 13 in the group, which was good number, and help and explanations were clear . We concluded by eating our... More

I thought I had booked on a food tour, but just before my hotel host asked "Are you ready for your Cookery Course?" Gulp! Anyway - I needn't have worried. About half an hour outside Marrakech Medina we arrived at out hosts for the day at Faim 'dEpices. We baked bread, made salads, blind test our spices knowledge, and then... More

Thoroughly recommend this as it's not only a cooking class but you also learn a lot about individual spices. Making a lamb tagine and bread, being shown how to make various traditional Moroccan salads and then sitting down for a meal outside amongst the orange trees was a great day, and a great contrast to the hustle and bustle of...
