I didn't really have much shopping in mind when I went to Marrakech, but I did want a look at some of the local wares and the thought of the constant hassle you get in the souks put me off. This place was the perfect solution. You can wander around, pick things up and thoroughly check them over and you... More

If you're planning on doing any shopping in the souks, I really would pop into the Ensemble Artisanal first. Everything is fixed (and marked) price, so you get to see what sort of prices you can expect to pay in the souks (which should be less than the Ensemble Artisanal). It's also more like a "normal" shop, in that you... More

Here you pay a little more than if you are a good bargainer, but it is so worth it if you don´t like the haggeling. For ex. I bought a nice, simple leather bag for 150 Dirhams - in the souks they begin at 700...

Quiet place to browse with fixed prices makes a complete contrast to the souk but then realise we came to marrakech because it's different. The hand made felt products are worth the visit and we didn't see these anywhere else. Useful to gauge prices but can get things more cheaply in the souk. Later found shops in airport were even... For all the fun we had browsing endlessly in the Souk, our most memorable shopping experience in Marrakech was somewhere else: this state-run crafts establlishment near the Hotel de Ville. It's a sunny, spacious arcade of handmade work that seemed to us of exceptional quality. My wife was entranced by a supple leather bag. She also bought a woven straw... More

We went here first based on tripadvisor reviews,, it's a great way to get a sense of prices before you go to the souks,,, then after some some time haggling in the souks, and buying a few things we need up going back here,,, why ? Because the people were nicer, the quality was better, and for paying only a... More

Following others advice we went here to check out some of the prices before haggling in the souks. Generally prices seem to be a little higher than in the souks but it does give an indication of what you should aim for. Whilst everything is supposed to be a fixed price we found that you could still bargain and get... More

We went there only to know about prices we should pay in the souks. You'll find everything but it's so nice to bargain, it's like a game, not sure I always won...

This place is heaven for shopping. No hassle, excellent and relaxing. I would go here before the souks. Prices a lot fairer, and you get to see the people making the goods, everyone really happy to just chat about their shops, no pressure selling. I bought 2 drums from the music shop, even got a good demonstration from the guy... More

After reading the reviews about it, we thought that we are going to some fairly big shopping area. When we got there we found about 20 small shops with hand-made goods. The shop keepers let you look around for as long as you like. However, we only spent about half an hour at the Ensemble Artisanal as we didn't really... More
