This was great. In the Souks you get hassled by the vendors, but here all the prices are set, and they are all very reasonable.

The Ensemble Artisanal is a great place to go to shop in peace and quiet once you have had enough of the souks. The prices are fixed , you can pay by credit card and there is a nice little reasonably priced cafe inside. You get to see the craftsmen and women making the products they sell, the ladies hand... Next to the new TUI Medina Gardens Hotel along the main road from Koutoubia Mosque. 100 shops inside a cool calm open air centre over two floors. Secure ATM for cash. Shops accept cards (over 300 MAD) and Cash in MAD, Euro or GBP. Best visited in the afternoon to avoid the sun when the hotel goers are by their... More

Not quite the experience of the souks but certainly less stressful! everything has a price and this removes the need to haggle. there are some really beautiful things for sale here. It is also a great way to know what prices to pay in the souks. We looked at some paintings here but didn't see anything which really took our... More

Tourist guides for Marrakech warn you, not to get a henna tattoo at the "Square", because there is no control about professionalism and toxic ingredients like PPD. But if you think, you are better off, if you go to the Ensemble Artisanal, you are wrong. The young woman, who is doing henna tattoos there, uses PPD without any warnings. My... More

Just like the inner pay off the souk, you get to see craftsmen at work and products to purchase. It's a good place to gage the price of local handicrafts. The cafe serves good and cheap food too.

This place is great for a browse. If you have no idea what typical moroccan goods should cost you are obviously going to be completely lost and ripped of in the souks. It does have the same goods that you can get anywhere else, but here you can relax and really have a look at things without it being assumed... More

It was fun to shop here after our souk visit to buy the items that we still needed. Quite different from the souks, no worrying about being hit with a donkey cart or scooters! You need to shop in the Ensemble and the Souk, both very different experience, both with advantages and disadvantages. The interior of the Ensemble is worth... More

We went here 3 times during our visit. First time it was really just to get an idea of prices, but I bought a lovely pair of very comfortable wedge heeled babouche type shoes in a deep red! Second time was to buy a second pair of the same shoe in blue! At under £10 a pair an absolute bargain!... More

We were disappointed in the Ensemble Artisanal, very few shops and the quality we thought was no better than a lot of the stalls in the souks. Whilst it is promoted as hassle free shopping it was so laid back that we couldn't find a salesperson in the carpet shop. Also in a couple of the shops they indicated they... More
