Easy to find so that's a good start in Marrakech. Wonderfully cool which was a blessing in 41 degree heat. About 40 vendors selling everything you could imagine you'd want to get to remember your time here. Carpets, jewellery, clothing, felt, pictures, light fittings, musical instruments, panels and this is just a small selection. The vendors in the main were... More

The Ensemble Artisanal is a nice place, much more quiet than the souks and with more or less the same offer of souvenirs. Big difference: fixed prices that are really reasonable. I would highly recommend a visit to the Ensemble Artisanal for anyone going to Marrakech as a tourist and wanting to buy some souvenirs. Even if you don't want... More

Stayed at the Riu Tikida Gardens, for 10 days, 22nd Sept to 2nd Oct, during this this time we took the free shuttle bus, provided by the hotel, in to Marrakech for some sightseeing. The shuttle takes about 20 mins and the drop off point is the Place du 16 Novembre. Start walking down Avenue Mohammed V, towards the big... More

This is a great place to visit. You can see many artists showing their work. It's very easy to look and people help but do not harass you. One maker you must visit is the felt hat maker. He is a very interesting and extremely patient man whilst you look at all his products. It is super to be able... More

We went in here on the way to Djemaa El Fna square having walked from the November 47th roundabout in 42°C temperatures. We found it a cool haven and also a place to get a reasonable idea of what prices you should be haggling down to in the square, since it's a fixed price shop. Most of the merchandise is... More

Good little spot to avoid the heat for half an hour and no pressure to buy like the souks. Got everything 'traditional' you need, really enjoyed the calligraphy stand which made great presents for the family. Warning: Wrong location on the Trip Advisor City Guide app. The Address is right but not where it shows it.

This was great. In the Souks you get hassled by the vendors, but here all the prices are set, and they are all very reasonable.

The Ensemble Artisanal is a great place to go to shop in peace and quiet once you have had enough of the souks. The prices are fixed , you can pay by credit card and there is a nice little reasonably priced cafe inside. You get to see the craftsmen and women making the products they sell, the ladies hand...
