We booked a camel ride at Maroc Loisirs through our holiday rep at our hotel, we arrived and were dressed to ride camels in a long kaftan and a head dress. We were taken on a ride around the area on a camel before stopping half way for tea and pancakes. Our guide was very nice but because of our... More

We went on a 1 1/2 hour camel ride - the staff were lovely - helpful and friendly. Our guide was good - he didn't speak english and we spoke little french so there was minimal communication but he made sure we were ok and took lots of pictures for us - they dressed us in traditional clothing for our... This is a good opportunity to ride a camel and is close to Marrakech (20 minutes) from the Medina area. There are six riders per group, a guide and a baby camel named Michel. You stop for mint tea and a snack midway. The guide kept the camels on track and took photos of us. We went by houses, through... More

I enjoyed the camel ride although I was a little disappointed we only rode in circles around the neighbouring olive fields. I was maybe expecting something a little more exotic, but if you have children, this activity is perfect. I felt the 1.5-hour ride was unecessarily shortened by a long tea break as a shabby hosue nearby. Friendly staff, fun... More

We were sold the camel ride on the understanding that we were riding a camel in the palmgroves. We arrived in a barron mud field with not a palmgrove in sight. Although friendly, the tour guides did not say one single word about the camels, the area, the country, in fact they said nothing! Perhaps they could have told us... More

Hello, We feel very sorry reading your comment, please be aware that even in the Palmeraie there are no palm grooves left, nevertheless we are located just at the Atlas's feet you had a super view while waiting. If you come in summer you will enjoy our swimming pool; Hope to see you soon More

A fun place to ride camels or go to the pool not too far from the Medina in Marrakech. That said, there are a couple drawbacks. The scenery isn't much to look at (we did a camel ride for an hour, rather than the standard hour and a half - which was plenty, maybe even more than enough). Also, no... More

The half day quad biking was fantastic, it was a great way to see the countryside and the beautiful, breathtaking Atlas mountains. The guide was very good, always checking to make sure we were ok and the machienes were in top working order and very easy to use - I had never done this before and would love to go... More

After reading several reviews on the condition of the camels we decided to book a camel ride with Maroc Loisirs. It was all booked via email, and the day before I received a call to ensure it was all OK. They collected us from our hotel and drove us to their complex. We were very warmly received and made to... Great location, great staff, fabulous horses and camels make the less than atmospheric hacking location worth it! Would have gone back again and again if we had time. hacked out on fab horses and then my teen daughter spent time in the school cantering and working great arab stallion. Loved it!
