The only photographic museum in Morocco definitely didn't disappoint. Me and some friends spent a long time browsing the pictures, watching the film from the 1950's and sipping cold drinks on the roof terrace. Fantastic.

The curator at the museum gave of his time to explain the history of the photography on display. Well worth a visit to this museum which... More

Worth a visit for the view from the terrace, take a break from the sight-seeing and the opportunity to grab some lunch or have a mint tea & of course to look through the fabulous images of Marrakech and to buy a few prints.

Loving photography I arrived prepared for a few photos in some nondescript room. Not at all the case. Charming man welcomed us and explained the history and layout of the ancient building. You wind your way upwards passing both black and white as well as colour photos of Marrakech in all its poverty and splendour. Fabulous studies of individual profiles... More

Patrick, the owner was quick to lend us some wise words regarding cultural differences which completely changed our views (and the rest of our holiday) on Marrakech. Later that week I descided to go back and take a look inside the museum. Both Patrick... More
