Interesting glimpse into the history of Marrakech. Worth a visit if you're in Marrakech for a few days, but I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to go there if time is limited.
I'm not sure whether this place deserves to be the number 1 attraction in Marrakech on TripAdvisor (which it is at the time of writing), but it is a very calm, quiet museum of photos with a nice rooftop terrace. Definitely worth a visit.
this place was lovely the photos are amazing dating back to 1880.the staff are very friendly.it makes for a very peaceful afternoon it even has a rooftop terrace with a little restaurant.all in all a very interesting place to visit
A small and nice museum with a beautiful collection of historic photographs. Mostly black and white, these photographs of people, places and landscapes give a good impression of Morocco's recent history - and it is a pleasant place where you can drink and eat on a lovely roof terrace.
The best place in Marrakesh to get a real insight into how life was here 100 years ago. The photos are stunning, and don't miss the film on the top floor.

Downside- it is hard to find and not necessarily marked on the map- head for Ben Yussef school and it's nearby. It is open 7 days a week (see website).Ignore any locals who stop you in the street and tell you it's... More
The friendly and courteous staff offered us information about the museum in English as we entered, and pointed out that we could come and go if we kept our tickets. A lot of loving detective work appears to have gone on to draw this collection of mainly very early photographs together, and they're a fascinating record of what has and... More
