A designer friend suggested I visit Lahandira while in Marrakech - she said it was the most magical of all shops run by a family she had become close to given her frequent travels to the region. I was greeted with tea & coffee and soon found myself climbing up a narrow set of stairs to a showroom piled high... More

This was our second trip to Marrakech in the past five months.....I only wish I would have met Ismail and found Lahandira the first time! Ismail is very knowledgeable and honest about everything he sells. After our purchase of several beautiful, quality pieces, Ismail took several hours of his day to drive us to a wonderful shipper and our beautiful... More

I am a type of person who does not appreciate at all the aggressiveness of Marrakesh sellers! I was lucky to find Imael shop, where to buy a rug was easy and without any stress, as if in Portugal . If you want to buy a carpet , look no further ! Here is the place . I just wanted... More

Lahandira was recommended to us by a friend. This turned out to be the best shopping experience in whole of Marrakech. We had only little experience with rugs, but Ismail guided us through tribes, regions, designs and material with huge knowledge. We felt confident in our choice because of his great advice. No. 1 Rug Pusher in Marocco :)

If you don't know much about rugs, don't go at Lahandira because they sell mainly fake tribal rugs, made in order to deceive. There are a few good ones, but suddenly not at the same price than the others. Buyers beware!

My sister and I were visiting Marrakech for the first time as a birthday celebration, after wandering the souks we were walking back to the Riad and found this oasis. We went in for a closer look at the carpets, what we found was a delightful surprise, not... More

My family and I spent about 3 1/2 hours at Lahandria this afternoon. We looked at dozens of carpets each of different varieties. They totally knew their stuff. Gave us an education. Shared tea and snacks and showed us the rugs in different lightings and environments. Warm, lovely people. We haggled at the end, but only a bit, since we... More
