We felt like royalty attending Chez Ali, with all the surroundings of the palace being served by palace staff, being serenaded by singers and performers and served a royal banquet in royal surroundings. After the royal banquet we were entertained by horsemen, dancers, firing stuntsmen etc. Nothing negative to say about the experience absolutely loved every minute of it.

We booked an excursion in the evening through our hotel, 450DHS per person for transport to/ from the venue, 4 course meal and show.. Drinks not inc. but they did serve alcohol. It was a little overwhelming; like everywhere in Marrakech, as soon as you arrive you're being hounded with gimmicks in order to extract money from you. Holding hands... More

Was not how it was sold by the reps. Food = Half a lamb on a plate and nothing for the vegetarian with us. They made us pay for water as well. Room = Bloody hot and was chaos with the staff Show = 25mins (was told 45 and might get fireworks) few riders, one belly dancer and no acrobats.... More

Chez Ali ( or Fantasia ) was a really good experience and the food was excellent and of course very authentic. There was enough food for the four of us to have fed and army. Hot and delicious! The atmospere was inceredible and almost took you back to the traditional Morroccan experience. The show was good but I feel there... More

Fantasia Chez Ali is a fun night out and not to be taken too seriously we paid 450 dirham each which is about £30.00 GBP, our night started off with a minibus collecting us from our hotel at 7.45pm that stopped off at a couple of other local hotels to collect other tourists, it was about half an hours drive... After being beckoned over by the berber on horseback he then immediately demanded money for the privilege. The troupes of different tribespeople on the way in looked bored and indifferent to the audience who had higher expectations. After a reasonable meal (no biscuits or mint tea as another reviewer had) we watched the show. The guns were loud. We think... More

A dinner show for tourists ... but what a show! A line of Berber horsemen await your arrival, and as you enter the building musical groups of the different tribes begin to play their traditional instruments, women ullulate, all dressed in their typical costumes ...it's a fun experience. The dinner tables are under huge tents. Dinner is traditional Moroccan food... More

Having read lots of reviews I was very skeptical of even bothering with this, but family were keen to go and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The building is impressive (somehow I had in my head it would be in the middle of a barren plot of land, with stools to sit on and bad toilets), the... More

I cant believe this place even exsists.... On the way in, after walking through on a path lined on both sides with the entertainers on their horses ... you get showered in petals .... i mean honestly need i say more.... you're made feel like royalty! The setting was spectacular ... like a magical palace in a movie like Aladdin.... More

What a fun evening! Greeted at the entrance by Moroccan's on horse back in traditional dress with muskets. The evening begins with a traditional Moroccan food, surrounded by musicians. The highlight is the horseman charging through the central arena at amazing speed and then firing their muskets, very noisy but quite spectacular. Then the acrobatic horsemen, fab! Followed by a...
