Worth spending an evening at this

A bit too touristy, perhaps. But a fun night out, though you need to arrange transportation -- because it's about a half-hour drive outside Marrakech.

What a fun evening! Greeted at the entrance by Moroccan's on horse back in traditional dress with muskets. The evening begins with a traditional Moroccan food, surrounded by musicians. The highlight is the horseman charging through the central arena at amazing speed and then firing their muskets, very noisy but quite spectacular. Then the acrobatic horsemen, fab! Followed by a... It's remarkable that such an event was conceived. The evening was a good one for us to round up our exciting and beautiful break in Marrakech. The cultural show is a good event made memorable with the different dancers and singers. Kudos to organizers of the Fantasia.

We were ready for a cheesy Disneyland experience and thought this would be a fun change from history and the souk. There was confusion over where we were to sit which left us standing around waiting in a dining room full of a tourist bus people who were rowdy and having a good time snapping photos each time one of... The food was good but the dancers were annoying asking for tips and also the waiter stole our money by not giving us the change and he kept smiling whenever we ask for it as if he were lying about not having it which made us very angry however the show was amazing but the dancers and the waiter (thief)... We had a lovely dinner at Chez Ali that ended with an exciting horse show and amazing stunts. After the last representation, the vivid music started to invade the starry night, while fireworks lighted the sky. The traditional food was very tasty and the mint tea that they served at desert was a delight. Do visit if you visit Marrakesh,... More

I had a wonderful dinner with my Moroccan friends at Chez Ali restaurant. It was a truly magic night, animated by various folklore troupes passing through the tents dancing and singing. Fantasia show with horseback acrobatics was spectacular. The meals were sumptuous. We especially loved traditional Bastilla cake. The night can get quite cool here...something like a jacket or sweater... More

Absolute rubbish. High priced. The ethic entertainment was awful. They looked bored, screamed like banshees and wanted money. At least ten different groups in tired costumes,no smiles, came to our table as entertainment, but it was far from that,it was irritating. The show was amateur and embarrassing in it's presentation. The food was very ordinary and far too much. There were no drinks... More

Hated it from beginning to end. We were greeted by the most miserable bunch of frumpy, badly dressed Moroccon woman, who clearly did not want to be there. The meal, apart from the soup was horrible and served by a Woman(although it may have been a man) who was so caked in makeup she could not smile. The tagine was... More
