All in all it was a good night and we met some fantastic people but... Straight away it was all money, money, money! At the entrance the men on horses looked amazing, come get photo, they said, money, money they said-after! Then we were taken through the grotto of Ali-Baba, a small museum of such with some lovely displays. Then... More

This was a fantastic place to visit and the entertainment was supurb! The waiters were attentive and the food portions were extraordinary! I'm a veggie, so they provided a decent veg option. The evening show was spectacular! I would most definitely go again just for the entertainment as I am not a huge fan of Moroccan food. The only downside... More

The place is one of the many "Chez" experiences targeted at tourists to invite and indulge in the Moroccan experience. You are guided through to a small museum depicting moroccan past, with life-size plastic idols of the princess of Marrakech and Fes, etc. After which you are bombarded with some 20 different groups of musicians and singers in traditional attire,... The conference I was at in Marrakech organized a social evening at Chez Ali. My initial impression was that everything here was fake. The place is made up to look like a genuine Moroccan town area with a fake mosque, a fake square, and so forth. Though we were there with many Moroccan hosts, the food was absolutely terrible. Maybe... More

Was initially put off by the reviews. Yes it is tacky it's touristy but hey I am a tourist. It is not a genuine morrocan experience but it is good honest fun and we enjoyed It. The food served was excellent lamb with couscous and vegetables.

We visited Marrakech with an open mind, but our first sighting of a mule drawing a cart laden three-deep with breezeblocks did not fill us with encouragement. I yelled at the guy to stop beating the weakened animal in the blistering afternoon sun, some miles from any possible destination, but this is the nature of a culture which leaves you... More

This visit to the Chez Ali Fantasia cost £36.00 each which I booked on line from Marrakech. The food and service was wonderful, the horse riding entertainment could have been better, but the grounds, the buildings and fireworks were wonderful. It gave us a lovely break from the hustle and bustle of stopping in the Media. The price included transport.

IT Would be too easy to slate this attraction as it has many faults so one must look for the positives . The food was actually quite good in a country where good food is tricky to find .I didn't notice the service but perhaps was celebrating the fact that you could get a drink easily and reasonably .sometimes tricky...
