It's definitely nice but I wouldn't go out of my way to find it. It's one of those things that if you pass you might want a picture of but there are many many many more opportunities to see the impressive tile work in Morocco.

The first time I had a photo taken of me at this spot was in 1977. It was fun to repeat this experience so many years later. The fountain has not changed, even if I have!

You will probably pass by this fountain during your walk through the medina. If so, take a look. It has attractive though not spectacular tile work. If you happen to miss it, don't feel bad. It is not one of the top sites in Fes.

Like the other reviews this is simply a fountain area. There are so many of these types of things to see in this area such as doorways, alleyways, etc... that listing this as a separate attraction seems silly. If you are in the area then stop but dont make a special trip to go out of your way to see... More

Interesting place, but if you have the opportunity, try to come there in the morning 8-9, or late in the afternoon, when there are not many tourists and excursions. At that time you can feel the real atmosphere of the Fez Medina. VERY IMPORTANT - if you want to ask for directions, ask in the shops. No ask young people... More

There is something about splashing fountains in the desert which evokes the image of Morocco....these represent the ancient desert city of Fez.....don't miss them.

I dont see any special things about this fountain. There are so many fountains in the Medina and most of them are not in a good conditions. The mosaic is brilliant but a bit dusty and many dirty spots. I dont think that this fountain is attracting. I even didnt realize when I was in front of it until the... More

if you are used to seeing fountains like the Trevi in rome, the scale and location of this one is disappointing. However the mosaic work is brilliant, but don't put this as a 'must do' sight

It could appear as a magnificent fountain to an occidental eye, but your eyes will already be full when you reach the fountain, in the middle of the astonishing medina, so the fountain itself won't seem as gorgeous as described by the locals. Just a quick stop to take some photos maybe, but nothing more; there's a lot more to... More

No need to go out of your way to see this fountain, but if you are passing by admire the lovely tile wok. The mosaics are beautiful.
