A nice facade but no entrance allowed to mere mortals. The one entrance approachable is intricate and ornate, but not worth taking time out for.

At the conclusion of our day strolling through the Fes Medina, we stopped at the Royal Palace. Since this Royal Palace was closed, we were only able to view it from the outside. The gates are massive and the grounds are meticulously maintained. This is a site to visit after a long day in the Medina. There is not much... More

The palace is huge but there is not much to see. However the doors are very impressive, there is one door only the king can use. However you need not worry about it since all the doors are closed. It is a must see though the walls are very impressive as are the doors. You need not spend alot of... More

A very large palace covering a large area, with very high walls around the perimeter. The entrance doors on the tourist route are incredible works of art. Covered in handcrafted metal. A sight to behold.

It's a must see in Fez, seems to use every craft that Fez produces. Made even cooler with the royal family in residence and the ceremonial guard stated at the gates.

One of the many Palaces in the Imperial Cities. Amazing doors and entrances and carvings. Do it as part of the medina tours.

If it's part of your tour great but otherwise do not go out of your way as you can only see it from the outside. if you do go, make sure go in the morning before the crowds. Check out the Jewish quarter which is just beside the Palace. Some old architecture here as well.

Not much to see other than some rather ornate gates and gateways. I would not go out of my way to see, but it was part of our tour.

Great to see the elaborate hand crafted gates. This is truly amazing and best to see first thing in the morning - not too crowded.

It is easy to find and a short walk from the synagogue. Get there early so you can get shots of the wonderful gates before you are inundated with gawkers from the tour buses.
