The tombs, the subject of this review, are not worth a visit. There is not much remaining, there is a lot of rubbish around, and when we were there, two men were boxing in the center of the structure, which did not make us want to go take a close look. The view of Fes and the surrounding country is... More

One of the best views upon the old city...The other beautifull views are from the fortresses Nort & South and from several terraces in the Medina. My advise: take a pair of good binoculars to be able to spot the various world famous monuments Fes houses.

We climbed up to the hill where the tombs are... and they consist of a few ruins. Nice view down towards the Medina but there are no benches here and nowhere to actually go. Quite a lot of rubbish lying around and not really a nice place to have a picnic as we hoped we could do. Some nice views... More

These ruins are beautiful, but aside from that, the panorama from this position is absolutely nice. This is surely a must-visit during your staying in Fez...

Walked up road from the Royal Palace Area early morning as the climb helps to warm you up at this time of year. Very few unofficial guides around offering to assist and it was not until we were beyond the hotel located close to this monument that we encountered our first salesmen. The view from the ruined remains of the... More

Loved this place, my favourite part of Fes whilst I was there. The views are epic (like really epic). You can see much further than just the city, such as surrounding mountains and landscapes. The view is particularly beautiful during sunset, watching all of the shadows cast across Fes & sun shine across the tomb. Crazy watching some local boys... More

Liked: it's a short distance from the medina. I just walked to it. Makes for some great unique photos & really great view of the sprawling city beneath. Disliked: it's too bad the city doesn't have staff to clean the grounds a bit. There was garbage left inside & around the tomb.

Most of the comments here would agree with me...it's worth a quick visit, and the views of the city cannot be beat, but the tombs themselves are not the highlight. The views are.

The tombs themselves are disappointing, not much to see but the views of Fes from the top of the hill are worth the visit.
