My wife and i decided to stay in Fez ONLY for a few days based purely on the 'questionable' reviews found on the internet. After staying there i wished i hadn't have read them. This place is amazing. Will you get hassled to buy stuff, YES. Will you get hassled to eat in the restaurant, YES, will you get asked... more

I went to Fez souk with my boyfriend who speaks the local language perfectly. I would not recommend visiting this area until they sort this place out. The souk is nothing short of a place to extort money from tourists. Despite repeatedly saying no they followed us, prevented us from going up streets we wanted to visit and ganged together... more

My boyfriend (Caucasian) and I (Asian) have just returned from Morocco. The first of our 9 days was in Fez's Medina. The day started well when we left our Riad. As it turned out, we made a mistake by telling the parking attendant that it was our first time in Morocco. He told his buddies. And they never left us... more

Recently took a mom and 26 y.o. daughter trip to Morocco. We felt harassed and felt everyone was just trying to get our money constantly. From the concierge of the Sofitel Palais Jamal Hotel (very nice hotel), who could only recomend one restaurant where he clearly had some deal, to the official guide contracted through the hotel, who did not... more
