This is an absolute must if you enjoy food or cooking and are wanting to get an insight into the Moroccan cuisine and the flavour combinations. We started the morning with a shopping trip in the local market down the street to get all of our fresh ingredients. Souad our cooking instructor also gave us an explanation of most of... More

My friend and I did the cooking class with Souad and loved it. Not only did we learn to cook some delicious Moroccan food but we explored the market, talked about Moroccan culture and laughed a lot. I would highly recommend the class.

There is no better way to learn about Morocco culture and customs then to spend 5 hours with a chef working together in a kitchen. Working closely with our Chef-teacher SOUAD we picked a menu then proceeded to go shopping in the medina with her to buy fresh ingredients that we would be using in a food preparation. The schools... Our friend and “Tour Director” has repeatedly chosen stellar activities on trips we’ve taken together… and the cooking class at Café Clock is yet another. Souad, our instructor, greeted us and explained how the class works. We six students should choose a starter, main dish and dessert (we all had to agree), then Souad would take us shopping in the... My son and I (15 yr) thoroughly enjoyed this class. Soued was extremely warm, engaging and funny. We both thought the trip through the market was the best part and gave us insight into Moroccan life. We had a great group 10 people from all over the world. After we cooked, we ate on the rooftop with great conversations for... More

We signed up for the group class but ended up just being my wife and I learning how to cook with from Simo. He was a great teacher and we had a fun day learning how to cook Moroccan traditional dishes. We loved the experience of going out to the market and enjoyed a relaxing day in the kitchen while... To be honest, I can see why there are so many four and five star reviews. Yes, Souad is incredibly personable and funny, and it's nice to have someone showing you around the medina which is otherwise pretty labyrinthine and intimidating. The trip to the market is pretty interesting, as you may not have another chance again to see a... More

Think cooking class, and you normally would be stuck in a room for a couple of hours, listening to someone telling you how to make food. Rethink the cooking class as you step into the world of chef Soued in the Clock cafe in Fes! Every part of the day would be a wonderful experience in it´s own right. From... More

We took Souad's cooking class and had a very fun day. We began by choosing our menu and proceeded to the market with Souad to buy ingredients. The market tour was fascinating and we learned much more than we would have wandering through by ourselves. We learned to make a full Moroccan meal in a few very fun-filled hours and... More

Great experience learning to cook traditional Moroccan food, after shopping in the market and learning all about the food and traditions of the locals. The food we cooked was delicious, and we were given a small cookbook at the end. Since returning from Fes, I've cooked quite a few successful dishes from it :)
