Sound makes this experience. She is a natural story teller and clearly loves to share her culture. She helped us make some of the best food we had in Fes. The trip through the medina to buy ingredients was worth the price of admission! Recommended

This was a great way to experience the Fes Medina and learn a bit about the art of Moroccan cooking. Souad is a very kind-hearted and enthusiastic person. She made this an enjoyable learning experience and I would definitely recommend it for others.

My sister was visiting me for a week and we wanted to do an alternative and fun activity in Fez that we could enjoy together and we were not disappointed. This was a brilliant way to spend a day in Fez medina. There were 6 people in total under the guidance of a excellent and entertaining chef Souad. We were... More

We had a great experience with Souad at the Cafe Clock cooking school. The medina shopping experience was fun (could have been longer!) and the actual cooking itself was great. We found Souad to be a very warm, open, accommodating person who wanted us to truly understand her culture and her country's food. And she succeeded on both counts. This... More

If you have the time, this is an incredible way to spend pert of a day in Fes. The chef not only shares her recipes and cooking tips but details about herself and her culture. This proved to provide an intimate experience on the everyday life of Moroccans, more so than obtained elsewhere on our tour. BTW the food is... More

This is an absolute must if you enjoy food or cooking and are wanting to get an insight into the Moroccan cuisine and the flavour combinations. We started the morning with a shopping trip in the local market down the street to get all of our fresh ingredients. Souad our cooking instructor also gave us an explanation of most of... More

My friend and I did the cooking class with Souad and loved it. Not only did we learn to cook some delicious Moroccan food but we explored the market, talked about Moroccan culture and laughed a lot. I would highly recommend the class.

There is no better way to learn about Morocco culture and customs then to spend 5 hours with a chef working together in a kitchen. Working closely with our Chef-teacher SOUAD we picked a menu then proceeded to go shopping in the medina with her to buy fresh ingredients that we would be using in a food preparation. The schools... Our friend and “Tour Director” has repeatedly chosen stellar activities on trips we’ve taken together… and the cooking class at Café Clock is yet another. Souad, our instructor, greeted us and explained how the class works. We six students should choose a starter, main dish and dessert (we all had to agree), then Souad would take us shopping in the... My son and I (15 yr) thoroughly enjoyed this class. Soued was extremely warm, engaging and funny. We both thought the trip through the market was the best part and gave us insight into Moroccan life. We had a great group 10 people from all over the world. After we cooked, we ate on the rooftop with great conversations for... More
