When I walk to the Royal Palace and unfortunately, the guard said I wouldn't allow to go into the square and take picture but I can take picture from behind the fence which I cannot see the beautiful front gate. If the guard do let me in (even I ask him to come with me), I would give 5 stars... More

Well from the outside of the gate it looked good, however the fully armed guard decisively kept us out, even after our morrocan friend pleaded to let us in for 5 mins... Pity...

It seems that every city and town has a palace in case the king visits. We obviously could only see the external frontage and the enormous open square at the front. We were amazed to see so many guards ( which was true of palaces and royal property throughout Morocco). Royal guards, gendarmes and the army. Every gate and wall was... More

Unfortunately we were not able to go inside, but the stunning tile work is worth stopping and looking from outside. make sure you get up close as the colour of the tiles and patterns are stunning.

This palace has, as all other royal palaces in Morocco, a very nice gate. But that is all you can see. Since it is a bit away from the center, you might omit this sight.

The outside of the palace is quite attractive, but since it is a "working" royal palace you are not allowed inside, although I gather that sometimes you can gain admission. What you will see is a big plaza, nicely kept landscape, huge palace doors and palace walls. You can take some photographs but do not take pictures that include the... More

I did an extensive walk around Casablanca yesterday and tried the Royal Palace yet again. Unfortunately, yet again, I wasn't allowed in. It seems that, from reviews posted here, some people have managed to gain entry and have even uploaded photos. I wish they had posted details of when and how. I had a shopping bag with me yesterday and... More

If you are visiting Casablanca, this is a must see. I really admired the giant door outside the palace with its Moroccan decorations. One must visit the surroundings in order to see the entire place. I must suggest one should hire a guide who should be able to give the details of the palace. Although tourists are not allowed inside... More
