The gates of the Palace!

Worth a stop by but its only a wall at the end of a big square.Good for photo opportunities as the workmanship on the gates are beautiful.

it' s a pitty when you see so many poor people and after you see the palace where the kings lives for summer holidays. we didn't visit it inside because it was forbidden but we enjoyed the view and the grea location near to the beach

This is an absolutely beautiful place to visit - but be careful with your camera! They don`t have problems with photos... but we recorded a video and were 'politely' asked to delete it by the guards.

Amazing tile work both inside and out. A beautiful structure arising out of the ordinary areas of suburban Casablanca. A great photo op standing in front of the giant metal doors and huge door knockers.

Maybe it was because the royal family had just either driven away or arrived (we never knew which), but we couldn't get close to the royal palace and when a few of us walked into the street to take a long-distance photo of the gate, we were shooed away. So you could view some garbed security personnel from a distance,... More

You cannot photograph the guards! The get very upset at the cameras. The entry gates are huge and gorgeous. Gorgeous gardens as well.

The place was on lockdown due to the King being in town but it is another palace and not worth the time to check out unless you are in the area. The new medina is right next door so if you are in this area take a peak at the palace otherwise spend your time elsewhere.

When I walk to the Royal Palace and unfortunately, the guard said I wouldn't allow to go into the square and take picture but I can take picture from behind the fence which I cannot see the beautiful front gate. If the guard do let me in (even I ask him to come with me), I would give 5 stars... More

Well from the outside of the gate it looked good, however the fully armed guard decisively kept us out, even after our morrocan friend pleaded to let us in for 5 mins... Pity...
