We took a taxi from the mosque, enjoyed a drink by the sea and a walk along the front. Returning to the city by tram was a problem because the ticket machines demand lots of coins and the portable ticket office was closed. Fortunately a tram driver obtained coins form colleagues and passers by. Typical of the help and friendliness... More

We went with the new tram, which was clean and convenient. Arriving there you find a promenade on the sea side with outings and beaches. Quite nice.

We spent a few days in Casablanca and as we are a family with small children we naturally headed for the beach. We knew it is a city beach and other reviewers mentioned that it is dirty - this is true. We visited in February, so we weren't expecting sun-bathing weather. Even on a fairly calm and sunny day, the... More

Our expectations of Casablanca were very low, but on arrival we went straight here, late afternoon. It was great to see how the locals use this space. And as the sun went down it was great to be a part of it all.

Take a relaxing walk along the Corniche, always lively with families, tourists and locals out to breathe in the fresh sea air. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and beach clubs for all tastes.

After visiting he King Hassan II Mosque take a walk or better take a taxi to La Corniche. If you have time and bathing suit go to one of the many beaches and private clubs. Alternatively you can walk around enjoy the views, the many restaurants and bars offering you excellent food, the shops.

Casablanca, is the biggest city in morocco, but do not have the best beach. However, there are some private beach clubs you should go to at the cornich. all of them has swimming pools both for adults and for children plus a private beach. This is much better to spend a day at, then to be on the public beach.... More

The walk along the La Corniche is definitely a pleasant way to spend the afternoon. We had lunch at an excellent French seafood restaurant. Also, there is a new mall at the far end of La Corniche that is really over-the-top and worth seeing.

Unfortunately the beach gets very busy on weekends, and it's not advisable for women to go there in bikinis.
