After escaping the hideous Agadir by bus, you arrive in Taghazout, which is a breath of fresh air in comparison. Taghazout is a small town with a range of shops and restaurants - all of which are extremely cheap. It sits at the far end of a long beach, on which you can do a range of activities from surfing... We were told it was a great hippy beach, lots of bars and water sports, we couldn't find any bars actually on the beach and not much more than surging.

A perfect little fishing village. You can rent an apartment at the beach front. We had a balcony overlooking the sea so could watch kids playing on the beach and watching the local way of life. Friendly cafes, they even let us cook our own tajine!!

Its in a lovely area but there is nothing but a beach. In addition developers are trying to build some high rise hotels there which will spoil an as yet unspoiled area. Expect a camel or two

This beach was very chill with camels carrying boards, locals playing soccer and good vibes! We surfed all day and decided to stay longer to play soccer and eat traditional Moroccan walnuts that this local guy was selling on the beach! Thanks guys from the Ocean Surf House for showing us around!

A great place for surfers by day and fishing by night, the beach is a short walk over some magnificent rocks, camel and horse riding is offered by the locals. The down side to this area is the smell of untreated sewage that gets dumped in the sea.

loads going on, sellers when you want them and actually selling things you want! We made friends with these guys and ended up dancing around a huge drum at a beach football match.. Excellent fun one of my most favorite beaches. possibly not for those who enjoy peace and quiet

Lovely beach, great for surfing and full of attractive cafes and restaurants. Take a bus from Agadir and spend a day or two there. Cheap apartments available everywhere.
