Great spot to stop for lunch

Wonderful spot to stop for lunch, walk on the beach, and enjoy the Atlantic from "the other side." A short drive from Agadir and full of local color and helpful, welcoming locals.

We traveled down from Immouzer and down the coast taking in Paradis Plage & Taghazout beaches. We stopped on the hills overlooking these and took it the scenery from the top. There are some lovely smaller coves as well as the bigger beaches of Taghazout. Well worth a visit out of Agadir as the beaches here are quieter and less... More

Fabulous flat sandy beach, with excellent waves, be careful on a windy day, as the sand blows and can hit you and sting! take a large umbrella, we used ours as a shield. Had great fun on the Camels.

After escaping the hideous Agadir by bus, you arrive in Taghazout, which is a breath of fresh air in comparison. Taghazout is a small town with a range of shops and restaurants - all of which are extremely cheap. It sits at the far end of a long beach, on which you can do a range of activities from surfing... We were told it was a great hippy beach, lots of bars and water sports, we couldn't find any bars actually on the beach and not much more than surging.

A perfect little fishing village. You can rent an apartment at the beach front. We had a balcony overlooking the sea so could watch kids playing on the beach and watching the local way of life. Friendly cafes, they even let us cook our own tajine!!

Its in a lovely area but there is nothing but a beach. In addition developers are trying to build some high rise hotels there which will spoil an as yet unspoiled area. Expect a camel or two

This beach was very chill with camels carrying boards, locals playing soccer and good vibes! We surfed all day and decided to stay longer to play soccer and eat traditional Moroccan walnuts that this local guy was selling on the beach! Thanks guys from the Ocean Surf House for showing us around!
