Just stayed near Taghazout in a villa at Madraba, Anchor point. Firstly the villa was described as luxurious. It was anything but, on the first night there were two cockroaches running around (big ones). The place was shabby and tired. The photos were deceiving. The roof terrace looked amazing on the photo, in reality, it was overlooked, small and dirty.... More

Went for the day from Agadir and fell in love with Taghazout! Got a white taxi, dropped us off and picked us up later. Went to main beach first for camel ride, great fun, then clambered over dunes to the village. After a delicious local tagine we wandered down steep streets to Fisherman's Beach - paradise! How quaint and beautiful,... More

This beach is a nice one. Good for surfing or relaxing. It is within walking distance of the city/village. Think you could do kite surfing but you need to bring your own equipment. However surfing boards and wetsuits can be borrowd in shops in Tanghazout.

I did go there once. I'm not a surfer, just a tourist, but you could watch surfers falling in here, which is quite fun. But it was a bit hustly with people pestering you to buy everything from camel rides to peanuts

It's a smaller quieter beach than Agadir (if that's what you want?) but good atmosphere and things to do. Good area for surfing and picnicking.

long sandy beaches, the village of Taghazout provides loads of restaurants where you can drink a coffee/mint tea and have the best views at the surfers below. Only downside I found is the trash everywhere, the locals have the habit of dumping their rubbish in riverbeds or along the roads which makes it look like a landfill, I really hope... More

This was labeled as non-touristy and off the beaten track. When we arrived (after a 30 minute drive) we were disappointed. The village itself is very dirty and run down. The beach is filthy (as you might expect from all the camels and horses on it) and there is a lot of litter. It is overlooked by a construction site... More

We had high expectations for this location but found it bland. If you are a surfer its worth a visit but if not you will have stray starving dogs looking for affection :(and young boys in charge of camels who are irresponsible. They were sent out to earn money from one main camel ride seller who was elderly but were clearly doing...
