6 kilometers long, red brick paved, some beach sellers, but if you are firm with them they leave you alone
Nice and spacious, safe, colourful restaurants.....good for an evening stroll. Sometimes the guys inviting you into their restaurants can be a bit of a nuisance but they are doing a job. But they are always polite and do smile if you refuse. They will always remember you!
It is well worth walking up the Promenade! Yes there are street sellers - put your glasses on so they cant see you looking if you want less attention. Most of them take NO for an answer. Not a problem.....

We stayed in the opposite end of the promenade from the Marina. The area is lovely and you get some really spectacular sunsets and a nice breeze from the Atlantic.

4 miles long, the promenade is a broad safe buffer between the strip of hotels and the beach. Great for running along (if a little 'flat' !), with exercise machines available at various points.
Best time to do as locals are out and using outdoor gym stuff near the Tikada Beach Hotel in a large area which is free and available to all if you are missing this and football on the beach at low tide.
excellent for running, strolling, people watching, eating in restaurants and cafes. Gets busy but in a good atmospheric way.
The huge promenade gives you the opportunity for a nice daily walk, there are hawkers trying to sell you cotton garments, fake watches, fake sunglasses, cheap jewellery etc, but if you say 'No' and keep walking they soon lose interest. Walk early morning or late afternoon and take some water with you.
Definitely the easiest way to get from the main hotel end of Agadir into the central district. Popular with joggers as well and a nice clean and well maintained route
