The most incredible holiday experience- ever!!! We fell on this place by chance and it was the best 4 days of the whole trip. Our hosts, Bernard and Fabi Morin live 30 km out of Marrakech in the Ourika Valley near the Atlas Mountains. They have a wonderful bungalow, provide meals and wine and wonderful tours. Fabi's family has had... More

We booked 2 trips through Isango, The Marrakech trip & Ourika valley. Both were really good, we had an air conditionned caoch both times. The guides were really good, spoke both English & French. One guide named Khalid took us to the Ourika Valley. He made us visit a traditional berber house amongst many other things. He was very helpful!

We went to the Ourika Valley, to the village Setti Fatma. It was arranged by the travel agency Imzi Travel. They did a good job, for a good value (25 euro, including lunch). We were picked up in time and we traveled with a comfortable van, with 5 other tourists. We had three stops on our way. First to a... More

Trip to Ourika Valley is surely an excellent way to explore the wonderful nature of the Haut Atlas. Snow covered mountains, waterfalls, picturesque villages, blooming cherry and apple trees, monkeys, birds and goats... Truly outstanding trip and very recommended for hiking.

The day trip to the Ourika valley and Atlas Mountains is a really popular trip amongst tourists. It involves first going to an actual Berber village where we saw how the people live. We were offered Moroccan tea here (very sweet mint tea) and bread with honey, oil and butter. Then we got to ride camels, which seems like it... More

Many mistakenly believe Ourika Valley is all about getting to the 7 waterfalls. It isn't. There, the main paths turn into the aisles of souvenir shops and a lot of peddling for baksheesh amid discarded soda bottles and pampers which lie about (not exactly Eco-friendly). That said, people who see only this part of Ourika are tourists, not travelers. Ironically,... More

We went to Marrakech and went to see the Ourika Valley! Really beautiful! This is around 1h30 max from Marrakech. Arrange your trip with Youssef (at the Bus station number 18) and you won't be disappointed!

We booked our trip at the 'Musée de la Photographie', an alternative trip to the others sold everywhere else. It was more a gentle ecowalk through a part of the valley. Khalid, our most sympathetic guide told us about different plants, Berber villages and the meaning of the colours and designs in their carpets, saltwinning, pottery and so on. What... More
