This trip is a must if staying in Marrakech for more than 5 days, and I would recommend this after day 3, you will appreciate the cool calm weather and easy going people. Until I visited here, the equivalent of this type of place was Lake Tahoe in NV, USA. But Ourika has a blend of Moroccon culture, food and... More

This was an absolutely sensational trip. Firstly we had a tour of a Berber house, drank Moroccan tea there, then we went to a kind of herb garden where we were shown the various herbs and spices grown in Morocco and shown how Argan oil is made. There a two types - one for eating and one that you can... More

We booked "The drive to the WTerfalls " through our hotel as they had been recommended but when we got there it was these falls not the much more impressive ones we had seen advertised. Our fault for not checking BUT it was a good day out,yes all the selling stops that othe reviewers say but ok. The big no... More

Fascinating view of mountain and waterfalls. Make sure you wear proper shoes for climbing. Make sure what is included into your tour price. You can climb the falls without a guide. There are many restaurants in the way to the falls to choose from, in case you don't like the one the tour guide is taking you.

Visited the Ourika Valley on a day excursion from Marrakech which is about an hour or so drive away.On the way, we were taken to the usual type stop- offs on these trips (on this occasion it was an argan oil factory and a Berber house) then from the main village we were handed over to our guide to make... We wanted to explore the area around Marrakesh and the Ourika Valley was close at hand and offered much in possibilities, a genuine Berber market, Moroccan local cuisine and beautiful scenery.

A trip to the foothills of the Atlas mountains, a lovely relief from the heat and bustle of the medina. Views beautiful, waterfalls, rivers and snow capped mountains! Only go on the climb if you are very fit and wearing climbing boots! Our guide told us it's a gentle climb which couldn't have been further from the truth. Good to... More
