Enjoyed the visit to the Berber house where we were given mint tea, flat bread and olive oil. Visited the cascade and the 'monkey bridge'

We went on a half day trip to the Ourika Valley and it was definitely worth seeing. This is a lush, fertile valley between Marrakesh and the Atlas Mountains where all the fruit and vegetables grow. It is peppered with wonderful Berber villages and large expanses of green meadows and gardens. The scenery is fantastic and there are plenty of... More

Really nice excursion! But take good shoes on because you have to climb. The waterfall and the view was awesome! Go there.

Everything especially the souvenirs but with a lot of bargaining. The Argan oil makers should reduce their outrageous prices for all the products. We don't mint money . But all the same a trip worth repeating.

For those who are looking for a slight challenge. Not that easy to find. Better head there prepared. With or without a guide the hike is manageable.

Get a private taxi from Marrakech out to Ourika. It should be around 600dhm and is about an hour's drive out. Your driver will wait for you in town while you wander or hike up to the waterfalls. I can't say what conditions are like after the first waterfall, but it was a bit of work to get to that... More

Organised Excursion - minibus were 200dh per person, but I was told we could have gone 600dh by private taxi. I wish we did...would have been much better. Not because we don't like to go with other tourists, but this trip was again about shopping half the time and only got to the valley where we could walk up to... More

After asking the guy called yosef for a relaxing day out he recommended the ourika excursion. We booked it and couldn't wait. The next morning as promised at 9am we were picked up by a minibus and for the next hour went to town as the driver wanted to buy some fruit, then we picked other guests up from different... More
