A very interesting combination of Cathedral and remembrance! Take the time to read the plaques on the walls, the dates that go back to early 1800's - very interesting!

What a view from the largest and most historic Catholic Church in North Africa. Be sure to attend An organ event or a singing event in the church. The acoustics are amazing girl. And, little a candelabra and make a small donation, as your sins will be absolved!!!

If you go to Algiers, you must see Notre-Dame d'Afrique. First of all for its amazing architecture and colours, it is a unique place in Algiers, a peaceful points in the chaos. Then the view on the city is unbelievable from there. If you want a taste of nostalgia in Algiers, don't miss it.

Is a very famous place in Algiers. Ideal to visit with friends, and make nice photos. The Basilica was Inaugurated in 1872, and was founded by Charles Lavigerie. This a obrigatory visit in Algiers.

If you want to experience the rise and overnight disappearance of French Algeria this is the place to visit. One of the most beautiful churches in the entire Arab world. You can literally feel yourself in French Algeria in the 19th century as you walk around this church. Get a taxi to take you up there and wait for you... More
