During the spring and fall when all the flowers are blooming is the best time to go. They offer venues you can rent, but also nice for pictures, and just exploring with family or friends. There is a butterfly garden, a giant nome, and different artist sculptures designed every year.I would recommend visiting.

If you choose to go here allow yourself at lease 3 to 4 hours or longer depending if you like the out doors. We didn't get to see but only half of it and what we did see was kind of rushed. We also went into the butterfly house, a must see and it never disappoints. Next year we will... More

I was very stressed out after dropping my son off at Iowa State and was looking for a quiet, peaceful activity. I had heard good things about Reiman Gardens and I am so glad I visited. All of the employees (or perhaps volunteers) were so pleasant and helpful and full of knowledge. The butterfly gardens was awesome! So many pretty... More

This place was amazing. It was so peaceful walking in the gardens. I guess every year they have a theme. It was so fun finding all the painted aliens this year. And don't miss the giant gnome Elwood.

Our kids from toddlers to pretend and the adults all love this peaceful and beautifully designed set of gardens. Themes change every few mOnths. We saw the alien invasion this summer which meant a scavenger hunt to find the seventeen hidden alien sculptures in the gardens. The butterfly house is truly spectacular--take some time to sit on a bench and... More

The Butterfly House had some beautiful specimens. 15 acres of easy walking paths, interesting large lawn sculptures, ponds and even a Children's Garden with hands-on items.

Very unusual gardens where one can spend an hour easily. The walkways are well maintained and it is an excellent place to walk.

Reiman Gardens is a great place to visit or frequent. There is an large variety of beautiful gardens to walk through and enjoy, plus a nice indoor garden as well. Enjoyment comes from simply pondering the beauty as you sit, stand, or walk through each area. The butterfly exhibit is world-class. Experiencing the exhibit is a must.

We went mainly for the butterfly garden. Loved it. We did walk the grounds but being only may a quarter of the grounds was not in bloom yet. Can only imagine what the rose gardens will look like in just a few weeks. They should adjust price accordingly but still a good value for a relaxing day.
