We went to Hoosier Park to enjoy a concert. Arrived early to explore the casino. It's all machines and smoker friendly. There is a small "non-smoking" area tucked into the far side, but it seems more of an afterthought and is open to the smoking section, so not really smoke-free. In addition, you have to walk through the smokers to... More

Had a blast making small bets on the "ponies" and playing the slots - even if we didn't win it was entertaining. The casino and race track were quite nice. I'm not a smoker, so always have to take that into consideration in places like this that allow smoking. Obviously you can't avoid the smell, but it wasn't too overwhelming.... More

We decided to check out the Park since our hotel room at the Best Western was only a few minutes away. They shuttled us there and back with no waiting what so ever. The casino was clean and did not have a cigarette smell. They have a large amount of slot machines and plenty of places to eat. The food... More

We had never been to the Hoosier Park Amphitheater, so we were surprised to find it isn't an amphitheater in the traditional sense of an open air building, but it is in the sense of being open air. It is really just an asphalt parking lot where they put up seats. Not very pretty but it worked well. It was... More

They do have table games. I have played for some hours on the black jack with the ipad card tv deal and actual human dealer although it is not my choice by far. With the slots they are above average and have nor went completely digital. It is all slips for your credits although they still have some of the... More

We decided to visit Hoosier Park on a whim, even though it was an over 3 hour drive. We had a great time learning how to bet on horses, and spending time in the casino. Definitely join the free club when you go. They had a promotion going on where members get a free gift every Friday-- free bbq set... More

I Knew the restaurant at Hoosier park racing was not handicapped accessible from a previous visit, but they just finished renovating the entire building and we t thought it would be ADA compliment. It was more difficult to get around in a wheelchair than before. The restaurant only had tables accessible by going down steps. Disappointed. The horse racing was... More

We visited Hoosier Park for a Kathy Griffin show in April of 2014. We are from Ohio where you can't smoke in public places including casinos so it was quite a shock to the system to walk in to all the smoke in this casino. They have a no smoking section but it is not really closed off from the... More

Liked everything except the buffet and a couple of their staff was less to be desired. Not much of a selection. We had a coupon for 1/2 price, I would not have paid full price, would not have been worth it

Ive been to the Casino before but I recently made my first trip to the horse track and enjoyed myself a lot more then playing slots mindlessly. If you haven't played the horses before its not as intimidating as it seems. Buy a program for 3 bucks see the odds on the horses and place a simple bet on a... More
