Described as "the most beautiful track in America", Arlington...

Described as "the most beautiful track in America", Arlington began Thoroughbred racing on October 13, 1927, when more than 20,000 fans braved the cold weather to celebrate the event in high style.

Since then, Arlington International has become a social destination and perfect summer hangout to watch and wager on the amazing sport of Thoroughbred horse racing! Arlington offers beautiful venues for everything from corporate outings to reunions to weddings, and it's the ideal spot for groups of friends to catch-up, watch the ponies and meet new people. From Miller Lite Party in the Park on Friday, to Miller Lite Horses & Hops on Saturdays, to Sunday Family Days presented by Daily Herald and Lipton Iced Tea, it's always a great time!

I attended a business outing here over the summer on a Friday. Our coordinator bought reserved seats and we had our choice of drinks at the bars (drink choices were ok). We spent several hours here watching races and placing bets. The weather was great and the park is beautiful to look at. For a future trip, I'd recommend 20... More

Arlington Park is a great place for a summer outing when you are in the Chicago area and looking for something different then the lakefront and baseball. The Park is beautiful, and the races are fun and filled with variety as the races move between the turf and the dirt. Food options are good and cold beverages are plentiful, although... More

My kids love this place! It's a bit pricey, but lots to check out and it's on a pretty expansive piece of property so they have lots of different things to offer. We easily killed a couple of hours there just checking everything out.

Our Red Hat ladies met for lunch at the track and had a great afternoon of viewing the horses before a race, betting and enjoying the beautiful Arlington Park facilities.

We go to Arlington Park race track every year for the Arlington Million stakes race in August. We especially like this track due to it's cleanliness and beautiful landscaping. While there is plenty of parking, it is very easy to get there via the Metra rail, from downtown Chicago, with a stop rite at the door of the Race Course. All... More

Arlington Race Course is one of the Crown Jewels. It is easy to get to and parking is free. The entry fee is a little steep. Once inside you can hang out in the paddock and finish line area in the Club House or roam to the Grandstand area where there are picnic tables and bands on Fridays. There are... More

Costs a fortune for admission. Better to eat and drink pop before you enter. Every seat within 1/4 mile of the finish line was reserved. My friend and I sat in an open area by the finish line, and one of the Arlington Redcoats told us that we could not sit there. I answered why not? And his response was... More

We're sorry to hear of your disappointment with the prices at Arlington International. While it is accurate that we charge $8.00 for general admission to the track, our goal is to provide quality entertainment at this price point in addition to the Thoroughbred horse racing taking place on the track to be sure our guests are getting the best experience... Had lunch in the Million Dollar room and it was fabulous. Crisp and white glass enclosed restaurant overlooking the track. Very comfortable air-conditioned location, steps to a spot to place your bet, TV on every table for a close-up look, food was excellent, service was pleasant and quick.

JMJ An absolute must for the 4th of July and family gatherings. Reserve an area for your family or group and just enjoy! We brought our own food but there was also many options to find food and drink. Much more of a family experience than I thought it would be-the gambling turns into fun, especially if there are some... More
