My sister and I toured the Beall Mansion last Friday and had a very enjoyable time. Jim gave us a lot of history on the home and the Alton area. The home is lovely! We would highly recommend the tour, or a stay at the bed and breakfast.

Great history on not only the sight but local and even touched a little on early American business. Beautiful grounds and home, hoping to plan a trip back for fast approaching anniversary!

Jim knows everything there is to know about the mansion he owns. He was so thorough and answered every question we had. Our tour was definitely worth the money.

We toured the Beall Mansion today and totally enjoyed the visit. Jim was very informative and friendly in his talk. The mansion is beautiful and elegant and the gardens are lovely. We all want to come back for a longer visit.

Took a tour awhile back of the Beall Mansion. The owners Jim and Sandy were very hospitable. I cannot believe the detail in the home, the ornate woodwork, chandeliers, fireplaces in every room, and beautiful furniture. This home was built around the turn of the century (1900). This would definitely be a place to stay for a truly unique evening.... More

My friend and I highly recommend the Beall Mansion Tour. The home is unbelievably beautiful. This was the high-lite of our trip. We were not able to spend a night there, but if you have the opportunity take it, you will not regret it. Thank you so much. You can feel the joy that lingers in the house, such a... More

We stayed one night at the Beall Mansion. We loved it so much that we came back for two more nights on the end of our trip. The home is beautiful and relaxing. Jim, with his butler attire, made us feel welcome and right at home. He was very informative about the area and the home. We loved it and... More

The homeowner is a gracious host and very knowledgeable regarding not only the history of the mansion, but of the Victorian era as well. Jim provided a lot of insight into aspects of that period that I was not aware of.

We made last minute reservations to go see the Beall Mansion. We had no problems getting in for a tour. We were greeted by Joe and he went into great detail about the mansion. It was very interesting and we also got to see books with pictures about the restoration of the house. Joe had alot of interesting stories about... More

I took the wife here for our second anniversary, Had a wonderful time. Very historical mansion, lots of interesting antiques. Jim and Sandy have done such an amazing job restoring and preserving the property. The breakfast in bed was simply amazing!
