Our family traveled from Alaska, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Texas, Wisconsin, Massachutes, and Alberta Canada to our family reunion. We had a great time in a beautiful park. The only downside I had was the cabins need new mattresses. I would definitely return.

We stayed in the Gilmore loop and what a gem this was. The spaces are not too close, there was privacy and noise was not an issue. The sites are very large with many trees for shade. The campground was very well maintained and clean and the camp hosts were delightful. There is plenty to do from hiking, biking, swimming,... More

This by far is our absolute favorite state park. It is situated on 44,000 acres so there is more than enough room to spread out. We stayed on one of the upper loops and enjoyed a large semi private spot with a cement pad, tent pad and nice table area. The spots are meticulously maintained by the campground hosts, they... More

What a great state park! There is so much to do here! 4 disc golf courses- we have never played before, but purchased some discs at the museum and kids (8 and 10), husband and I had a great time! We stayed in the Gilmore loop and after biking through the other loops and found Gilmore to have more privacy... More

We had a relaxing camping weekend in the Snowberry Campground and took in the The brig museum in the park and saw some local history as well. The US Navy used Lake Pend Oreille as a training facility in the 40's after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. It was a nice little museum that covered the history of the Park.... More

LOL I was excited to book a cabin as we had spent many camping visits at this park and always wanted to try a cabin. THe cabin was small but lovely. Our one and only complaint was that the shower houses were all closed.....there was no running water! We had to drive into the Conoco at Athol to wash our... More

Lots to do with people at parks. Lots of marked trails. It cost $5 day or 40 of a state park year pass, no disabled vet discount for the state parks:(

We discovered this gem in the Farragut State Park when we drove our grandkids to the airport in Spokane and had time to kill. We spent an hour in this trip down history filled with artifacts, photographs, and housed in an actual "brig". The only cost is the $5 to get into the state park so it's essentially free when... Our Girl Scouts worked hard to earn a trip to Silverwood and we stayed at the cabins that Farragut state park. These are tiny cabins that barely hold 5 12-13 year old girls. There was a huge infestation of wasps nearby that made it almost impossible to enjoy a meal outside. Plus, there was no access to the nearby lake.... More

Great park. Showers at Beaver Bay were the only ones open and were questionable. Loved the campsite. Beach and lake are beautiful! Great hiking trails. Had a blast!
