We went early and had a casual light dinner and some drinks then went down and sat on the beach around 7pm. Easy to get a good spot as the beach wasn't too busy. The fireworks were great, atmosphere was great and they didn't go for too long which meant we got our 4yo home and back into bed at... More

There is a show before the fireworks - they want you to pay 20USD pp to see the show (it´s about 20mins long)but you can actually watch the show from everywhere - it is around the pool. They don´t really check if you paid or not so you can even sit down and watch the show without paying too.

We throughly enjoyed the fireworks display. We were staying at the Hilton Hawaiian towers so enjoyed cocktails and a appetizer buffet from the second floor of the ali"I tower. Made for a delightful evening!

If you're in Waikiki and Friday night, this is a must do! We were able to watch the fireworks show from our lanai in the Rainbow tower - not too long of a show, but very enjoyable. We could see the large crowds gather on the beach below. Definitely a festive atmosphere.

Hilton Hawaiian Village puts on a free fireworks show every Friday night, you must do this at least once during your stay. Very enjoyable, just be sure to join the gathering out front at the beach before it fills up with the crowd. Very enjoyable

Adding to our memorable events of Waikiki beach is the fireworks show that occurs every friday behind the Hilton hotel. Grab a cool drink, fine a bench, or nice rock to sit on, and enjoy the dazzling fireworks show. We were there the end of October and the show started about 8:45 PM. I don't go to many fireworks shows... More

Enjoyed an awesome sunset picnic with the Ohana and the free fireworks show from Ala Moana Beach Park. One of the best deals on Oahu. If you're parking at Ala Moana Beach Park you will need to go early as the parking gets very packed. Grab a bento and head on down

Great display, not too long, but it's a wonderful atmosphere! Very busy, but there was enough room for everyone on the beach. They started around 7:45. We didn't stay at the Hilton, but we walked over and went to dinner at Tropics, which is right in front of the beach, then grabbed a spot close to where they were setting... More

The fireworks are on every Friday and start at 7:45pm. They last about 7 minutes. They create a great atmosphere on the beach. I recommend the beach behind the army museum. We have been twice. The first time was on a cruise. Watching from the water was amazing. A must see for free.
