Enjoyed an awesome sunset picnic with the Ohana and the free fireworks show from Ala Moana Beach Park. One of the best deals on Oahu. If you're parking at Ala Moana Beach Park you will need to go early as the parking gets very packed. Grab a bento and head on down

Great display, not too long, but it's a wonderful atmosphere! Very busy, but there was enough room for everyone on the beach. They started around 7:45. We didn't stay at the Hilton, but we walked over and went to dinner at Tropics, which is right in front of the beach, then grabbed a spot close to where they were setting... More

The fireworks are on every Friday and start at 7:45pm. They last about 7 minutes. They create a great atmosphere on the beach. I recommend the beach behind the army museum. We have been twice. The first time was on a cruise. Watching from the water was amazing. A must see for free.

The fireworks were extensive and visually pleasing however they weren't particularly splendid. However it was a nice touch to a great stay at the HHV.

The fireworks are for a short time only ten mins and if you are not staying in the hotel it is hard to find parking. So plan ahead.

We planned our night to finish with the fireworks. Had been to the pool then to a local pub for dinner which was close to the Hilton. We were able to find our space on the beach right at the water to see the show! The Hilton does this every Friday! Of course it can be seen from the beach... More

A nice way to top off a Friday night and it's free which is a bonus! Best to ask locals for best vantage point. Fireworks go for about 5-10mins

We saw the fireworks from our 25th floor balcony. Really exciting, colorful and up close! It was a beautiful display, overlooking the ocean.

We stayed at the Hilton so it was easy to incorporate the fireworks show into our evening. We ate and had cocktails next door at the barefoot beach bar and enjoyed the fireworks show.

Seen the show from a bus stop and it was still a good view. Always nice to have fireworks before a dinner date ;) a nice way to spend a few minutes while waiting for a bus topping off a perfect week toward the end of a great vacation.
