A nice way to top off a Friday night and it's free which is a bonus! Best to ask locals for best vantage point. Fireworks go for about 5-10mins

We saw the fireworks from our 25th floor balcony. Really exciting, colorful and up close! It was a beautiful display, overlooking the ocean.

We stayed at the Hilton so it was easy to incorporate the fireworks show into our evening. We ate and had cocktails next door at the barefoot beach bar and enjoyed the fireworks show.

Seen the show from a bus stop and it was still a good view. Always nice to have fireworks before a dinner date ;) a nice way to spend a few minutes while waiting for a bus topping off a perfect week toward the end of a great vacation.

They might not be as impressive as other fireworks, but it's all about the location. Sit on the beach and take it in. Gorgeous.

The beach gets very busy with crowds from other hotels, but we still had plenty of space. Fireworks lasted longer than I imagined. My and my daughter love a firework show so this was a nice touch to round off the evening. Be aware all shops/area turns into a swarm when the fireworks are over and it was a struggle... More

A typical thing you must do while in Honolulu if you are here on a Friday. The show is organized from early evening, and starts at 19:45 if I remember well. The show only lasts for some 5 minutes, but the amount of people at the beach at the time is also part of the show. A great memory of... More

After missing this several years in a row because of being in business meetings at a time it was an absolute must when I travelled with my kids. It is one of the most massive fireworks displays I've seen and great fun for the whole family, make sure to get to the beach early to catch a good spot!

The fireworks on the friday night of our last night in Oahu (literally it was our last night-we watched the fireworks right before going to the airport) was truly phenomanal! Just everything the about the atmosphere of the hilton hawaiian village area- the random hawaiianly dressed dudes lighting up the torches all over waikiki beach (and the rest of honolulu... More
