Short but free and a nice addition to a friday night

Walk down to the beachside of Fort Derussy park around 645 pm for a nice ten minute fireworks display. Lots of restaurants nearby.

We had heard and read on Trip Advisor that the Friday Night Fireworks can be seen all over Waikiki. We were disappointed on Friday, January 22 when they could not be seen from the eastern end of Waikiki. We were waiting outside the Westin Moana Surfrider on the beach to see them. Suddenly, there was lots of booming and you... More

A very small and short fireworks show. Don't expect much, and you can't see it from most of the hilton property.

Arrived in Waikiki on a Thursday and the Friday Night Fireworks was on the must do list. Not being familiar with where to go and best place to watch we took a chance and picked our own spot. While wandering around we noticed the Waikiki Wall which juts out into the sea off the Kuhio Beach park.. This was an... More

We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village for the Martin Luther King weekend and enjoyed another wonderful Friday Night Fireworks show! The free show always draws a huge crowd on the beach -- mostly visitors, but many local residents also show up. The fireworks are spectacular and always dazzles the audience, ending in a huge cheer from the crowd after... More

We were staying at the Hilton. Went downstairs and got a blizzard. People were gathering for the viewing. I went to our lanai to watch from there. The height of the fireworks was great.

Every Friday night people walk out to the beach to see free fireworks. It is a nice free activity for all to enjoy.

We boarded a sailing catamaran at kewalo basin and it had a dinner buffet. This was Christmas Day evening. What a perfect way to end this holiday by watching fireworks from a boat at sea.

While staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Beach Resort, we had a chance to see this famous firework show. First of all, we would recommend getting a good place to sit around the lagoon, but some of those in our party were able to just watch while standing on the sidewalk with a great view. It is not very long so... More
