Watch it if you can! 1. Get a good spot on the Waikiki beach atleast 30mnts prior to the start. 2. Open to everyone- the beach will be packed with people. 3. The fireworks lasted for about 15mnts or so and was good. Very well organized and security staff do a good job of controlling people.

Open to everyone. We had dinner at Round Table Pizza in the Hilton and wandered the village shops and entertainment beforehand. We headed out just before the start and sat on the grass by the lake. It was a great view in a beautiful setting under the night sky.

What's not to like, the sunset and fireworks on the beach in Waikiki. Public beach access all around with a clear view of all the fireworks. Starts at approximately 7:45 PM and ends within 60 minutes. Large crowds.

You don't get something for nothing very often these days but these fireworks were great. Weather was perfect and the location picturesque. All the families and couples sitting on the beach to watch a great show. Our kids were very happy with the beautiful display.

We spent the day out and about with a friend and returned to our hotel which is next tp the Hilton Hawaiian Village. We arrived home just in time for the Friday Night Fireworks. They last five, maybe ten minutes and were a nice way to end the day. If you are staying nearby, it's definitely worth walking over to... More

We enjoyed the fireworks from our room balcony, but this is something those who aren't guests of the resort can enjoy and I'm sure it would be amazing from the shoreline as well.

Definitely they are at 7:45pm all year round now right off the shore at The Hilton Hawaiian Village. Anyone with any ocean view room closer to Diamond Head, or at Duke's, or anywhere along Kuhio Beach will not be able to view them due to blockage from the enormous Sheraton Waikiki Hotel.
