We spent the day out and about with a friend and returned to our hotel which is next tp the Hilton Hawaiian Village. We arrived home just in time for the Friday Night Fireworks. They last five, maybe ten minutes and were a nice way to end the day. If you are staying nearby, it's definitely worth walking over to... More

We enjoyed the fireworks from our room balcony, but this is something those who aren't guests of the resort can enjoy and I'm sure it would be amazing from the shoreline as well.

Definitely they are at 7:45pm all year round now right off the shore at The Hilton Hawaiian Village. Anyone with any ocean view room closer to Diamond Head, or at Duke's, or anywhere along Kuhio Beach will not be able to view them due to blockage from the enormous Sheraton Waikiki Hotel.

The beach on the Waikiki strand right about in the middle of the strand was terrible! The bottom was very rocky and you couldn't stand up. One of our party cut her toe. You really need to go to the farther ends of the strand to get a decent ocean floor.

We had forgotten completely about this until a number of people deboarded the Pink Line Trolley at the HHV stop. We thought that we might be able to see the fireworks from out 15th floor balcony at the DoubleTree up the street. No dice, the fireworks did not reach a sufficient altitude. I timed the detonations, four minutes, that's all.

Nice firework show in front of Hilton Hawaiian village. Just about anywhere you sit that has an unobstructed view of the water in that area is a great view. But don't be late the entire show is about 5 minutes long!

We saw the show from the dinner cruise boat. The show lasted about 6-7 minutes. It's not a very long show, but the price is right, it's free!! The grand finale was awesome!!

Get there when they stretch out the yellow caution tape and you will have a great viewing point. We thought we were arriving too close to the start, but it was the right time as they blocked the beach walkway just as we arrived so we were in front and stood for the whole show, about 20 minutes which was...
