Awesome Beach!!!

Awesome beach...beautiful blue water and great waves. Not too crowded so getting a spot on the sand was easy. Highly recommend this beach.

Our favorite beach while on Oahu. We made it here twice in 6 days. We jumped off the rock, swam with turtles - great go pro footage!, and really just enjoyed the views. The parking lot gets full quickly so go early or bring a lot of patience. The sand was extremely hot.

This is a must stop for tourists. There is plenty of sand/beach area for people. The only limiting factor is the parking. You must arrive early to get an open spot. If you are going there on weekends, you need to get there extra early. If not, you might be able to get a spot on the road. I dont... More

Don't forget your beverages as there's NOTHING and NOWHERE to hydrate yourself throughout the day. Lots of sand space and nice clean water with soft waves.

We happen to stop here while going around the island, it was afternoon. We were attracted by some surfers that were exploiting the empting water flow from a nearby lake, surfing on the flow. Astonishing! I can recommend to be there at sunset, veery romantic to see the sun falling into the sea!

This is just such a pretty beach. A lot of people must think so because the beach becomes crowded as the day goes on. The parking lot is small so getting there early is essential. Plan on packing a cooler because food and drinks are a long uphill hike away. There are a few parking spots on the highway and... More

We came so Waimea beach on Friday morning. We were staying a couple miles from here, we grabbed breakfast from ted's bakery and headed straight here. We tried to come here last year and there was no parking so we knew this time if we wanted a parking spot we would need to come early. We got there about 8:30... More

We went just before sunset during the week so the crowd was minimal and the view was gorgeous! We jumped off the rock on the edge of the beach and had a blast. So beautiful!

Full review of jump rock, snorkeling, swimming and tunnels can be found on my blog here: http://www.thekatieshowblog.com/waimea-bay/ The parking is crazy so go early and bring shade because the beach is open. I went just yesterday and saw dolphins, turtles, swam in the tunnels and jumped off the rock. It is an amazingly beautiful spot to visit but only during... More

We really enjoyed spending our day in Waimea bay. We got there by hitchhiking so I can't really give u any information about the parking situation - just noticed it was crowded. There is a bus station near by tho. The beach was really nice. I definitely recommend jumping from the cliffs. Seems pretty high at first but it is... More
