Come prepared to spend some time at this beach. Yes, Parking is difficult to find. We parked along the side of the road and walked down a steep trail. Don't leave any valuables in your car, the was plenty of broken glass where we parked. The beach is beautiful and the sand is hot. The water is refreshing. There is... More

Definitely go to the Waimea Bay Beach Park during your trip to Oahu. Wonderful white sand beach. Great place to snorkel. Jumping off the rock cliff is a must! Parking is an issue. Plan to arrive at 10:00am or earlier to find a spot at the park itself. Parking is available in several other locations. Across the street at the... More

What a beautiful beach, the water is crystal clear! The only thing that I think it needs is more parking, it can be very difficult to find a place to park.

We made a quick trip to Waimea Bay as we had heard so many great things about it. We arrived about 5pm and had planned on staying for sunset. While the water and location are beautiful the mounds of trash around the area were a huge turn-off.

We were there in July, water was so calm, it was great for swimming. In addition, you can dive from the rocks on the left side of the bay...of all the beaches in oahu that one was my favorite...you can park on the other side of the road

This beach in July was the most beautiful we visited on Oahu. Golden sand, the clearest water we saw. Calm as a pond. It is hard to imagine it in winter with the surf crashing in. Lots jumping off the rock at one end even though the sign says not to. If my teenagers had been there they would have... More

Yes, parking is horrendous and the bathrooms are gross but the outdoor showers are convenient to wash of the salt and sand, and the beach is wonderful for an early morning or late afternoon family day in the serene Oahu waters during the summer months when there is no surf. Find a bit of shade on the grass area or... More

Great beach with very good snorkeling. Of course there is the cliff jumping and the wonderful sand and long beach. Overall great place for family fun. Parking can be a bit of a problem, but for $10 you can park across the street and you can walk about 1 block and problem solved.

This beach is beautiful! One of the best beaches in Oahu. It was way too hot when we visited North Shore and also windy. The wind broke our umbrella that day, otherwise I'd give it 4 stars! Lol! I recommend that you bring an umbrella or tent to enjoy your day longer. Cliff jumpers had a blast. My cousins and... More

Awesome, beach was beautiful, sand was hot, water was delicious. Parking can be a problem but patience is a virtue. Was a highlight for us and the cliff jumping was awesome!
