the parking lot at this beach is small. That said it is worth the effort to get the spot. Great smaller more local feeling beach nice wide sand area at the time of the year I visited which was mid September. There is a rock that everyone jumps off of at the end of the beach looked like fun but... More

Blue water lapping up against the golden sand with palm trees lining the shoreline make this a spectacular public beach. It is very picturesque with the rocks at the far end of the beach where many daredevils enjoy jumping off them :-) There are some picnic tables, and a water fountain to wash the sand off your feet along with... Yes, the teenagers we traveled with had a great time here. The parking lot was small so we had to wait for someone to leave so we could get into the lot. There is parking across the street at the falls hike entrance and that was our next hope if we couldn't find any. The bay area has a quick... More

My husband really enjoyed this beach a lot because there is a little cliff that you can dive from into the ocean. Since we went in August, the tides were not crazy but this is a beach that you cannot swim in during the winter months due to the high tides. It is pretty windy so hold on to your... More

It's a public beach and as so it is not as clean and organized as other beaches across the island, but it is a great spot for snorkeling! Parking is very limited and if it's full you can park at Waimea valley for 10$ and walk about 10 minutes back to the beach. At the beach try to stay away... More

「WARNING JUMPING/DIVING CAN CAUSE SERIOUS BODILY INJURY OR DEATH FOR YOUR SAFTY PLEASE STAY OFF ROCK」 波もちょっとあったのですが、さずがハワイ。大きさの割りに波のパワーがすごいので、小さい子様は要注意です。

Have been there in summer & November. Quite a difference. Lifeguard on duty at all times. Summertime is nice & mellow. Great for swimming or snorkeling. Definitely try "The Jump Rock" Great fun, but be careful! Wintertime is a different story. If the swells are high, don't get too near the shoreline. The shore break can knock you down &... More

We went to the beach yesterday as part of our day trip. We arrived at around 5:00 pm with the intention of just taking a look and then going for a walk. Once I set foot on the soft sand and felt the warm Hawaiian sun on head, I ran back to the car to grab my trunks. The water... More

Come prepared to spend some time at this beach. Yes, Parking is difficult to find. We parked along the side of the road and walked down a steep trail. Don't leave any valuables in your car, the was plenty of broken glass where we parked. The beach is beautiful and the sand is hot. The water is refreshing. There is... More
