This is a great place to bring the family, great park with tables, trees and the beach. The only negative is not enough parking. The water was very calm the day our family of 5 was there. Also, a vendor was selling t shirts of north shore for $5, great gift to take home.

Crystal clear water, nice people, not too crowded, a huge rock to jump from, and a place to spend the day. During the summer, Waimea Bay is a like a huge crystal clear swimming pool. The water is warm and the environment is nice and friendly. It's right in front of Waimea Valley where you can see plants and animals... More

This is a wide sand beach with very limited parking but if you are lucky enough to get a spot you are going to love this beach! There are facilities available but pack your lunch and bring plenty of water! We were here in June, it was very warm, very sunny and the waves were perfect for us main-landers that... More

This is a truly beautiful beach on the Northshore of Oahu and well worth the drive up there from Waikiki. It has a car park but is limited and fills up quickly, so plan to get there early. One activity is to watch the thrill seekers jumping into the water high from this group of rocks at the South end... More

We visited Waimea bay with our young family. What a beautiful spectacular place White beaches, crystal clear waters and lots of people watching. Not sure what is is like at other times of the year, however when we were there in June is was perfect and safe for families Parking is limited. Try over the road, it's only $10 for... More

As beautiful a beach and water as you will find anywhere in the world. The beach is large for the North Shore. The water is beautiful and calm (which again is unusual for the north shore). Great for swimming and snorkeling, and for families to relax. There is even a rock that rises pretty high out of the water that... More

Beautiful sandy beach. I would never ever jump off the cliff because I would be the idiot that would break her neck. The thing I thought was odd was that only about 5-6 feet as you enter the water it drops to a point where you cannot stand. I would never bring children to this beach and the bathrooms were... More

Cannot jump off the big rock. It's against the rules. Don't do it. Don't follow all the others up the side and stand and wait your turn and jump. Sit on the wonderful wide beach and think about what fun it would be to climb up and jump.(Want I should watch your stuff?)
