How can a war memorial be allowed to fall into this state of disrepair. It is an insult to the memory of those whom it is meant to commemorate. Come on, Waikiki. Get your act together and renovate this historic landmark or shame on you!

At one time many, many years ago it may have been a great place but now it is nothing. You can not enter it for its dangerous. The place is falling apart and condemned. My wife and I had NO IDEA the War Memorial Natatorium existed until we visited the Honolulu Aquarium. Thankfully parking was typically and we had to walk about half a mile to get to the aquarium walking right past the War Memorial Natatorium. Although not many visitors take the time to stop here, I'm glad to see an effort is being made to preserve this memorial to the soldiers who fought in WW1 (heck, they weren't even American citizens at the time).
