We stopped by to check out this small family owned and operated nut farm on Molokai. The owner gave us a short, informative talk about macadamia nut trees from planting to harvest. Then we had an opportunity to crack and taste the nuts, as well as sample some of the honey from the farm. Well worth the short stop.

My husband and I stopped here when we spent the day on Molokai. What a great find! The owner was a hoot and gave a very interesting and informative talk about his plantation. He pointed out the various stages of ripeness of the nuts on the trees around us and then let us have a go at cracking and eating... More

Michela was our guide - she was a total hoot as she gave us the story of the farm and the family. We all had the opportunity to crack open some nuts and see the wonderful down to earth operation! Don't miss this on your visit to the Island!

Probably the best thing we saw in Molokai. This started with 50 macadamia trees in the 1920's. Tuddie who runs it gives you a short history and started harvesting the nuts in 1982. Not a big enterprise, just a shed, cracking & tasting board and most of all his beloved trees. From a thin fern like hanging from the tree... More

This is a place to go if you like to know how things are made, where they come from, what they really are. It was our second visit, so we didn't take the tour--we just came back for the nuts. However, we saw a young woman sorting nuts, and we recognized her as the daughter of the woman who is... More

Our guide Mikaela was so kind. She interrupted her work to give us a history of the farm and had whole process. She never pressured or hurried us. Very lovely place to spend a bit of time with. Really felt like old hawaii. A treat for us all.

My gf and I stopped here while exploring the island. We had a little difficulty finding it. We asked a local at the post office, and he told us exactly where it is. We found it and drove in, and found a man mowing his lawn. He told me to park outside on the street and walk in. We did,... More

Had already been on the Mauna Loa plant tour, so didn't really care so much about this farm, but it was part of a larger tour, so we went with it. The owner was really a great teacher, and we learned so much about how macadamias are grown. They even let the tourist play with some of the equipment to... More

Tuddie Purdy will give you a lesson in macadamia nuts and trees; you will learn things you would never have guessed. It is quite interesting, and he is quite a charismatic host. A trip that you will be glad you made. You'll also enjoy the taste of the various preparations of the macadamia nuts after his presentation. You park on... More
