Very pretty beach. Got alot of good pictures, but it's so windy you can't stay long. The sand it's you so hard in the wind that it stings your skin. If you've got free time to drive around it is worth stopping to look at and take some pictures. More

This is a beautiful beach area. Right after parking, you'll see a picnic area and camping. There are restrooms here (no soap or water though). It is a little hike down to the beach, but it is beautiful, soft sand. The day we were there it was quite windy. It is a great place to walk and explore. The surf... More

Drove forever. Could only stay a few minutes. Only a resort near there, if you are looking for some other attractions there are none. More

My husband and I were at Papohaku Beach on the west side of Moloka'i on Feb. 6&7. This beach is the longest stretch of white sand beach in the Hawaiian islands. But the beach should be used for walking, lounging in the sun and watching the sunset - the waves are quite large and the undertow is dangerous. During the... More

I have been to Papohaku Beach twice. Once in the winter and once in the summer. Although it's beautiful at any time of the year, be aware that all the pictures you have probably seen were likely taken in the summertime, when the beach is 300 feet wide. In the winter, most of the sand is pulled out to sea,... More

We stayed near Three Mile Beach, so went here several times during our week at the Ke Nani Kai. You can do a lot of beach walking, surf fishing, some snorkeling and definitely surfing!!! Enjoy the solitude of a beautiful beach without all the crowds of the other islands. More

keep it that way. the other beaches on other islands can have the crowds, the mess, the noise, the highrises, the bars and the bikini watchers. it is nice to have a big beach all for myself! More

This beach was very empty when we visited. It was awesome to see an entire beach that had no crowds on it!! The waves were quite high the day that we went, apparently it is a little better for swimming in the summer (we were there in January). But we had a lovely time walking along the beach and climbing... More

It’s a very long beach and very wide in areas. You should like you are alone if you find yourself a good spot to spend the day. More

The beach is absolutely wonderful -- some of the softest sand I have ever experienced. At this time of year (December), the wave action is active and the beach is not fit for swimming, however it is great for walking (although you can sink down 9 - 12 inches in some places) and enjoying the peace and quiet. On our... More
