I have played every course on Maui and this is my favorite. Out of the 3 Wailea courses don't miss this one. It really plays well and is in excellent condition. They keep it at a good pace and I have never experienced more than a 4 hour round. (Usually less) The pro-shop is extensive and has a HUGE variety... More

Well worth the trip, our most favourite of the 5 rounds we played this week. Staff was friendly and the starter was very informative. The course was in excellent summer shape. The greens were tricky, (used to playing bent grass) the sand traps were plentiful and had lots of sand (didn't have to try too many of them though) and... More

I took my boyfriend to play golf here and we had a great experience! We had a a lot of fun and we didn't feel rushed at all! Cheaper if you go in the afternoon. Would definitely do again!

The good - beautiful views, nice friendly starter, easy course with wide fairways and not much water and no forced carrys The bad - layout is not as pristine and natural as Makena, you can see others playing other holes around you, sand in some bunkers was shallow and hard resulting in blading over the green, overpriced just like every... We stayed at the Grand Champions Villas in Wailea in Feb. 2012. We played the Emerald Course twice, the Gold once and the Blue about 15 times (we were there for a month). We liked the Emerald, weren't crazy about the Gold - it was too hard for me. The Blue Course was great, even though I didn't play all... More

Just played this course with my good friend and it's in excellent shape. Make sure you look at the cup to determine which way the greens will break. Beautiful round!

My husband and I had forgotten how beautiful this course is, and how fun it is to play. It has the same great qualities as its sister courses Blue and Gold but is friendlier to play. The fairways are very generous, offer plenty of variety with hills and slopes, sharp doglegs, and water. Recommend you play all 3 courses at... More

Nice wide open fairways make this a friendly course for a wide range of abilities, assuming the gorgeous scenery doesn't distract you from the golf!

This is one of the most beautiful courses we have ever played. The views are to die for. If you are only playing Wailea once, this is the course to play. The Gold is nice, but the views are not nearly as beautiful and the Gold has many more bunkers. The Old Blue is not well maintained, and goes through... More

There was a lot of indecision about which golf courses we would play once we arrived in Maui. Because we were at the tail end of the low season (September and October) we were able to play both the Emerald and the Gold course for $189.00. We played as a threesome; my wife, a good friend who carries about a... More
