We stayed at the Grand Champions Villas in Wailea in Feb. 2012. We played the Emerald Course twice, the Gold once and the Blue about 15 times (we were there for a month). We liked the Emerald, weren't crazy about the Gold - it was too hard for me. The Blue Course was great, even though I didn't play all... More

Just played this course with my good friend and it's in excellent shape. Make sure you look at the cup to determine which way the greens will break. Beautiful round! More

My husband and I had forgotten how beautiful this course is, and how fun it is to play. It has the same great qualities as its sister courses Blue and Gold but is friendlier to play. The fairways are very generous, offer plenty of variety with hills and slopes, sharp doglegs, and water. Recommend you play all 3 courses at... More

Nice wide open fairways make this a friendly course for a wide range of abilities, assuming the gorgeous scenery doesn't distract you from the golf! More

This is one of the most beautiful courses we have ever played. The views are to die for. If you are only playing Wailea once, this is the course to play. The Gold is nice, but the views are not nearly as beautiful and the Gold has many more bunkers. The Old Blue is not well maintained, and goes through... More

There was a lot of indecision about which golf courses we would play once we arrived in Maui. Because we were at the tail end of the low season (September and October) we were able to play both the Emerald and the Gold course for $189.00. We played as a threesome; my wife, a good friend who carries about a... More

I played here after I played The Plantation Course and the Gold course is WAY better as far as playability, color and scene/beauty; oh and less expensive! Its fun to play for all skill levels. I will be returning this month for our anniversary and this course is first on my list to play! I brought my own clubs because... More

Planned on playing one round of golf while in Maui. I am a high 90's golfer so I was looking for a course that would be "easy" to play, not too difficult and great views of the ocean, plam trees and flowers. I played at the Emerald course and this course delivered everything I was looking for. The views are... More

This is an absolutely stunning golf course! It was in fabulous shape when we visited and everyone from the golf shop to the groundskeepers were tremendously hospitable. There are lots of tee options for golfers of all abilities and it made it great for my wife and I; she played the reds and I played the whites and we both... More

Compared to other courses on Maui, I would classify these two as “Resort” courses with the Gold being the more difficult of the two. They are impeccably maintained in all aspects..possible a little too manicured..could that be! The greens are in excellent shape with good roll, some tough putt reads but no surprises ala’ Kapalua. The day we played the... More
