Go out early in the morning with a nice boat company. Snorkeling is awesome with great visability, it definitely was the best thing to do on the Maui trip.

Do this in the morning when water is calmer than afternoon. This is a marine sanctuary and is the best snorkeling I have ever seen. Reported 180 feet visibility , and I believe it. Crystal clear water like no place in the Caribbean I have snorkeled. Like diving into an aquarium. Beautiful fish and coral. This is ideal for first... More

Just let yourself float and let your body totally relax....listen to your own breathing through the snorkel...and be amazed by the beauty, variety, and fascination of the underwater world. I saw a Moray eel and followed it for about 5 minutes! I had hoped to see a reef shark but didn't. Saw at least 25 varieties of the most gorgeous,... More

Some of the best snorkelling i'v done. Its a surreal experience inside the crater and the spinner dolphins on the way back were great to watch.

I recently took my third morning snorkel trip to Molokini in the last 8 years and was disappointed to find fewer fish than on previous visits. I also found the coral not looking that great. There were far more variety and number of fish and eels at the reef off of Kaanapali beach. The boat trip out to the crater... More

We lost half a day of our visit due to the snorkle dive being cancelled due to a big swell running. We spent 2 hours on the bus trying to sort out where the dive boat was.We were credited the value of the excursion but we felt the dive operators were slack in not advising the tour as the swell... this is well worth the trip at sunrise or sundown. The long winding road may make you motion sick but keep on doing. Going thru the clouds and try to time your visit to see the sunset or rise while you are on top of the crater. You wont regret it.

We had the perfect day for the trip with crew from Quicksilver. The weather was ideal ,water like glass with 180ft visibility. The staff were absolute professionals from safety to food service, the interesting info they gave during the trip was informative and funny. The day could not have been better - thanks for a very enjoyable experience.
