The snorkeling at Molokini definitely lives up to the hype on a good day, and our early-morning trip on Maui Classic Charters' Four Winds II definitely delivered. The entire trip takes about four hours, two of which are spent at the crater. Don't waste too much time eating the tasty lunch -- the views below are just too spectacular. lf... more

We went to Molokini two times during our visit, 1st with Four Winds II because they spend the whole time - 2 hours at the crater. The staff was friendly & supportive and their mooring point was along one side of the crater, with less surf action. They also had on board a photographer/videographer that did a great job including... more

Went to Molokini on the Pride of Maui. This is great for people with little or no snorkeling experience. I know everyone tries to pitch the SNUBA experience, but the best fish at Molokini are in the shallow water up close to the wall of the crater. SNUBA doesn't add anything much. In the deeper water, there were two small... more

We went to Molokini on our recent trip for about the 5th time, but I must say, this last trip ranks up there. We went out with a small boat called the Aqua Adventure, and we were thrilled to find out there were only 6 other people joining us... for once we didn't feel like herded cattle! Same gorgeous snorkel/snuba... more

My friends and I researched all of the different snorkel tours and decided on the Maui Magic. We were very happy with our decision! We snorkled in La Perouse Bay, stopped at Molokini to check it out, but it was too windy to get in, and finally at Coral Gardens near West Maui. We saw tons of fish, sea turtles,... more

My husband I did the no frills snorkel trip with Maui Dive Shop at the beginning of March '09. We went to Molokini and Turtle Town. Three hours of snorkeling was plenty for us. We got a continental breakfast and fruit after snorkeling, with plenty of coffee, juice, and water to drink. The crew was great ! Joe, Mark and Josh... more

My wife and I were on our 10th anniversary and spent a 1/2 day on the Four Winds Molokini snorkel cruise. The crew was awesome and the food was good and plentiful. The trip back was a bit rough due to the wind (we were there in June), but overall a great trip. We really enjoyed the clarity of the... more

The Maui Magic was the best part of our trip! We snorkled in La Perouse Bay, stopped at Molokini (but the water was really choppy, so we ditched it, which I was thankful for), and finally at Coral Gardens near West Maui. The crew was informative, friendly, helpful and just fun. There was breakfast, snacks and lunch served which was... more

Our time on the Maui Magic to Molokini was the highlight of our trip! The trip to the crater was beautiful and amazing. We were there during whale season and it was spectacular. Once at the crater, the water was calm and clear. The fish were different than what we see closer to the island, so the variety was a... more

Our group (4 adults & 1 teen) chose the Quicksilver boat -- what a mistake! We were the last ones off the dock -- 50 minutes late -- and the staff (except for one crewmember) was unpleasant at best. The "briefing" prior to departure was a long, (over 30 min.) boring sales pitch about renting wetsuits for an additional $10,... more
