This adventure was recommended by Activities outlet. I hated the timesharing presentation, which got us a 2-for-1 deal, but this snorkel adventure was way cool. I would recommend anyone considering this adventure to take bonine/dramamine. My wife is extremely sensitive to seasickness, but we bought some bonine at ABC and both were glad that we did. We just returned from a 2-week trip to Maui and our day spent with Captain Dave and his sidekick Jeff was the highlight of our trip. This is one of the most unique and crazy boat excursions we have ever been on. If you decide to splurge on one boat trip during your stay, this is the ONE! I have never had so much fun while learning so much in one day as my family and I did on the Lanai Dolphin Safari. Calling this trip a Dolphin Safari is a misnomer and it is more a snorkeling adventure tour coupled with geology, history, and marine biology and a lot of fun. This trip is not for wimps,... more

We had a great time on this trip. Captain Dave take you place the other boat would never go! Incredible views! The crew was awsome and fun. I would recommend this trip to anyone. more

We lucked out - we had an adventure. We had a tight itinerary and could only go snorkeling on a particular day. There was only one outfit with an opening for the time we needed to go and luckily for us, it was Safari. I have to admit that I thought the name was a little goofy and didn't have... more

My husband & I went on the Lania Snorkel Trip through Safari Boat Excursions out of Lahaina Harbor. If you have done the basic snorkeling trips around Maui and are looking for something a little more adventerous, this could be for you.
